 Product card

This is the first I’ve seen a detailed product card with product descriptions, tips and tricks!

Each month Ipsy sends a sneak peak email where you can view what your products are going to be before they arrive. Here's what my dashboard looked like:
When you login to your ipsy account online or using the app, you can click on your Glam Bag products and then you can select “learn more”. Once inside, ipsy lists some reasons “Why you’ll love it” and at the bottom of each product page, there’s also a “How to use it” section with detailed instructions, tips and photos.

First look!

DOUCCE Fierce And Fine Graphic Pen in Black - Full Size ($21 US)
Your eye look will last all damn day—this inky black formula won’t smear or smudge. It’s super versatile. Go bold and graphic or wing it out—your options are endless. Application = easy as pie. This waterproof, felt-tip liner glides on without pulling or tugging.
I’ve used Doucce liquid liners before and was underwhelmed. However, this one was amazing! The tip is firm and ultra thin for easy application and it did not bleed into my wrinkles. My winged eyeliner lasted all night and did not budge.

BELLE EN ARGENT Lip Luire Lip Gloss in I love That Car - Full Size ($22 US)
Our beauty editors saw ultra-glossy lips all over the runways, so we’re stoked to introduce you to this high-shine formula. Your lips will soak up the good-for-you ingredients like jojoba oil (to soothe and soften) and castor oil (to balance moisture).
I like lip gloss and I like this shade, but it is just too intense for me. It smears outside my lip line when I press my lips together and is very sticky.

M·A·C Studio Fix Powder Foundation in NC30 (1.5g, $3 US)
It’s totally buildable—this matte-finish, powder foundation gives medium-to-full coverage depending on how much you need. Customizing your coverage is easy—you can apply it with a damp beauty sponge (for full coverage) or a fluffy foundation brush (for a lighter finish). It goes on velvety-smooth, blends easily, and the long-lasting, streak-free formula stays put all day.
I already love M·A·C and this exact foundation, however this shade is way too yellow for me. I have more of a neutral skin tone. If you want something that will cover enough but not be overwhelming, this is the powder for you. It also helps manage oily skin.

MARC ANTHONY TRUE PROFESSIONAL Strengthening Grow Long Anti-Breakage Mask (50ml, $2.30 US)
Ditch dry, brittle hair by drenching it with moisture. Infused with caffeine and ginseng, this nourishing mask strengthens and improves the elasticity of your strands, so it can better withstand any style you go for. What’s in a name? A lot, actually. This mask can actually help your hair grow longer by protecting and repairing it. Slather it on in good conscience. You won’t find any harmful sulfates, parabens, or phthalates here.
I love getting hair masks because I have a lot of damage due to bleaching. It smells nice and felt a lot like conditioner. My hair felt soft and non-greasy after one use.

CIATÉ LONDON Glow-To Highlighter in Moondust ($8.70 US)
This shimmery highlighter is made with tiny, sphere-shaped particles that capture and reflect light for out-of-this-world radiance. It’s lightweight, silky smooth, very buildable, and blends like a dream—everything we want in a highlighter.
When first applied, I instantly fell in love. This is almost my favourite highlighter of all time! I am fair skinned and it still looks really nice on me. I was worried about it leaving a cast, but it didn’t but it’s definitely not subtle. Love the glow!

The February ipsy Glam Bag included five products and had a retail value of $57 US. This box cost me $20.17 CDN with exchange. There were two full size products and three deluxe samples. I am most excited about the Doucce eyeliner. A nice bag, thanks ipsy!

  1. I joined this just received my first glam bag and instead of five items it had one and I didn't even get my new makeup bag, not worth the money.

    1. I would email them. You should definitely get more than 1 item.
