Oatbox is a Canadian subscription services based in Montreal, Quebec. Each month, Oatbox creates two different oat-based cereal mixes, inspired by the season. The cereals are made from natural, healthy ingredients. Oatbox is completely customizable. You can choose to receive the monthly Chef's Selections, or opt to switch it up for the classic recurring mixes. Oatbox will e-mail you 3-days before your billing date so you can login to your account and make your selections (Select "Modify Shipment" from your account page). You can also add extra bags to your order, for an added cost. Products include oatmeal mixes, granola mixes, and breakfast granola bars. Some mixes are gluten-free, nut-free, or vegan.

From whole grain cereals like rolled oats and puffed quinoa to nuts and fruits as fresh as they get, our ingredients are really what makes our breakfast cereals truly unique.

Each bag is about 380g and offers approximately 8 portions each. The granola blends are made fresh and shipped the same month so your oats are guaranteed to be fresh. The packages are re-sealable and will last for 3-months on the shelf, at room temperature (as long as the seal is properly closed).

First look!

I typically get the Chef's Selection each month, but this time I added an extra package to my order. This is Salted Caramel Granola. The Chef's Selections are inspired by the season and changes every month, so it's a great way to sample different flavours.

Apple Pie Granola
Ingredients: Organic roasted oat flakes, organic rye flakes, organic quick oats, brown sugar, dehydrated quebec grown apples, organic high oleic sunflower oil, cinnamon, maple syrup, sea salt.

This was delicious! I topped it with yogourt, as usual. It was fall in a bowl!

The recipe card for Apple Pie Granola is Apple Crumble!

Cranberry Sesame Crunch Granola
Ingredients: Organic whole grain rolled oats, organic dried cranberries (organic cranberries, organic sugar, organic sunflower oil), organic wheat flakes, sesame seeds, organic honey, organic cane sugar, organic expeller pressed canola oil.

This one was tasty as well. The cranberries were sweet and tart, which is a combo I love!

This recipe is called Granola Dust. It's a strange one. Basically pulverize your granola into a powder and use it to top yogourt or add to smoothies.

The seasonal Chef's Selection for September included fall fruits and flavours. Apple Pie Granola was a hit in our house. Fingers crossed that Oatbox adds it to their regular library.
