** This company is now closed**

What is it? Namaslay Box (recently re-named Urmisa)
How Much? $44.95/month with free shipping. Prices in US dollars.
What’s in it? 5-7 yoga lifestyle products

Namaslay Box is a Canadian lifestyle box service, based in Montreal. As of September  1st, Namaslay has re-branded and is now known as Urmisa.

Since my last review in March, Namaslay has made a few more changes. The main changes are they are now a monthly box instead of bi-monthly and billing is in US instead of Canadian. The focus of Namaslay Box is "wellness lifestyle". The aim is to help support your calmness and well being, and make you a cleaner and healthier yogi. Boxes may include products like aromatherapy, natural skincare, healthy snacks, organic tea, and home items. Subscribe by the 25th to receive the next month's box. Boxes ship on the 10th of the month

We have a new product sheet this month. Instead of a card, it's now a mini-magazine called Namaslay Nation. The theme this month is "Connect with Nature".

The mini-mag includes product information, a sneak peek for next week, and an article about yoga & wellness.

For this review, I am listing valuations in Canadian and US dollars. Namaslay Box bills in US dollars, so normally I would do the entire review using US dollar values. This month's product info sheet lists Canadian sourced products in Canadian dollars and the US sourced products in US dollars. It's a bit confusing and doesn't give subscribers an accurate look at the box value, so I am converting values using the current exchange rate.

New Age Smudges & Herbs Palo Santo Sticks (6 pack, $2.95USD/$3.69CDN)
Also known as "Holy Wood", this Eco-friendly palo santo incense stick is harvested from naturally fallen branches off the Palo Santo tree in Ecuador. Burn the end and spread the smoke to cleanse and energize a space or naturally ward off mosquitos.
I received a palo santo stick in another box this month too. I'd never heard of it before this month! The product sheet lists the price of this pack as $12 CDN, but New Age sells this exact 6-pack online for $2.95 US (about $3.69 CDN).

Abbey Lane Farm Coffee Scrub (4oz, $13 CDN/$10.38 USD)
An all natural moisturizing coffee scrub that nourishes and tones as it removes dead skin cells, revealing the glowing, healthy-looking skin underneath.
Oh goodness! This smells so good, like a freshly brewed cup of coffee.

Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts (56g/2oz, $2.99 CDN/$2.39 USD)
Hemp Hearts taste great, are easy to use, and nutritious too! There's no more need to grind or cook Hemp Hearts, they're ready to eat straight from the bag and are simple to incorporate into your diet. Try sprinkling them on salads, cereal, or yogurt or blend them into smoothies.
I am a huge fan of these Canadian grown hemp hearts. They are great in just about everything.

Frisky Fish VIBE Essential Oil Roll-On ($14US/$17.53 CDN)
Balance, centre, thrive and flourish with Vibe, blend of Geranium & Sweet Essential Oil. Vibe will assist you in connecting with your heart centre and achieve more balance in life.
This blend smells of oranges. It's quite nice and I love the roll-on application.

Green Aventurine Pyramid ($14.95 USD/$18.72CDN)
Also known as the "Stone of Opportunity". Pyramids are known to amplify & tightly focus energy through the apex. They are full of vibrant energy & brings growth and confidence.
This small pyramid was listed as being worth $24, but I couldn't find ones of this size online anywhere for more than $14.95. The linked website says aventurine is the luckiest crystal, especially for manifesting prosperity and wealth.

Humble Brush for Adults ($4.99 USD/$6.25CDN)
A high-quality, sustainable product. All of the brushes have a bio-degradable bamboo-handle. Additionally, the packaging is made out of recycled materials. All brushes are "handcrafted to perfection" in Sweden with love.
These brushes are very cool! The handle is made from bamboo, which I just learned is the fastest growing plant on earth. This is why bamboo is a sustainable resource! I left the brush in the package because inside the box, the brush is sealed in a protective paper wrapper. I'm saving for it for the next time I need to replace my toothbrush!

The August Namaslay Box included six items, valued around $50 USD, or $62 CDN. This box costs $44.95 per month, with free shipping. It's an interesting collection  of items this month. I like that there are items for the mind, body, and spirit. The products this month fit with the "Connect with Nature" theme very well!

  1. I want to give that coffee scrub a try.

  2. I wish I could smell the roller - super curious about that combination!
