In Your Case Stationery Box Review - August 2017 - Canadian Kids Stationery/Activity Subscription Box + PROMO CODE

This box was provided complimentary for review.

What is it? In Your Case Stationery Box
How much? $19.99/month for Kids & Tweens Box. Save on longer term subscriptions. Shipping $5 per box. Prices in Canadian dollars.
What's in it? At least 6-8 super cool items & crafts, perfect for every kids' pencil case.

In your Case is a Canadian subscription pack, based in Halifax, for kids and tweens. The aim is to fuel imaginations and release the inner magic in every child. Each monthly pack will include stationery essentials for use at school or home. Items may include crafts, pencils, crayons, notebooks, and other related items.

For older kids, there is an "older version" of the monthly pack that includes at least 5-6 beautiful and modern items to bring life to your desk. The "older" pack is $24.99 per month.

In Your Case comes in a large bubble mailer that just barely fits in a condo sized mail box. This packaging helps keep the postage rates low.

First look!

Milk Carton Pencil Case
An important item in every crafters' arsenal. This one is very cute.

Here is a look at the pencil case filled up with some of the items still to come!

Milk Bottle Erasers and Pens
I loved little decorative erasers when I was a kid. They didn't work great, but they were fun to collect! The doughnut pen is black and the other pen is filled with layered coloured ink. As you use up the ink, the colour will change. It starts with blue, then yellow, pink, green, orange, and purple. No pencil in this pack though.

Delicious Donuts Washi Tape
Washi Tape is such a cool invention. It's decorative tape that can be used for a million different things. Seal, wrap, decorate, whatever. The doughnut motif is amazing.

Black Paper Notebook
This little 48 page book has black pages, so it's perfect for the rainbow ink pen.

I did a little sample flowerpot at the bottom of the page and tested out the washi tape. The squares and "Happy Birthday" message at the top were there when I opened the book. A gift maybe, since my birthday was a couple weeks ago, although there is no way they would have known that. Seems more likely a sneaky child got into the In Your Case supplies before shipping. Either way, it's awesome.

Canvas Goody Bag
This little goody bag comes with four coloured markets so kids can colour and decorate their own bag. My youngest niece would love this.

Crafter's Schoolhouse Classroom Pop-Up Labels
These labels include space for a child's name, grade, and subject. They are perfect to identify various duotangs  and notebooks.

Krafty Kids Color-Fun Puzzle
Like the canvas bag, this puzzle comes with coloured markets so kids can colour in the picture on the puzzle. Three colours wouldn't do it for me though! I was meticulous with detail back in the day (still am!), so I would probably need the giant 64 pack of crayons.

The August In Your Case box included 9 crafty items. I couldn't do a valuation of this box, however based on the subscription cost of $19.99, it works out to around $2.22 per item. These items are perfect for a box that shipped in August, in time for back-to-school. Ten-year-old Jill would have loved these items, especially the cute pencil case and erasers. I was obsessed with craft supplies, note books, and pretty stationery. I still am, to some degree! Some of the products remind me of the things sold at Daiso (if you are from the Vancouver area, you probably know Daiso. It's like an Asian dollar store). I don't think you get much savings from the box versus buying things yourself, but it's a fun subscription for kids and an easy way to get them some fun new craft and stationery products every month.
