July’s Glam Bag - Over Easy
About the Bag:
Our ultra chill (and super adorbs) mascot, Gudetama, makes its modeling debut on your July Glam Bag—perf for stashing all your #ipsyovereasy essentials.

Here's the other side of the product card introducing Gudetama:

Each month Ipsy sends a sneak peak email where you can view what your products are going to be before they arrive. Here's what my dashboard looked like:

When you login to your ipsy account online or using the app, you can click on your Glam Bag products and then you can select “learn more”. Once inside, ipsy lists some reasons “Why you’ll love it” and at the bottom of each product page, there’s also a “How to use it” section with detailed instructions, tips and photos.

First look at July’s Glam Bag

trèStiQue Mini Concealer Crayon in Porcelain ($10 US)
Confession: We don’t get enough sleep (who does?) so we swear by concealer. And this medium-to-full coverage baby is totes buildable to camouflage our deepest, darkest under-eye circles. The creamy, coconut oil-infused formula is supes hydrating and natural-looking, AKA it won’t ever cake or crease.
This colour is a nice match for me. I've used their products in the past and they work well. I like that this concealer is buildable and contains coconut oil.

Seraphine Botanicals Ginger + Gold Blush ($14 US)
No muddy, muted color here. This multi-dimensional powder formula looks insanely flattering in all lighting scenarios (so it’s perf for upgrading your selfie game)! It wins the award for versatility! This mega-versatile blush looks gorg on literally ALL skin tones.
Ginger + Gold is infused with ginger and chamomile extracts for juuuuust the right amount of shimmer and sheen.

At first I was hesitant to try this blush as I felt it would be way too dark for me - I was pleasantly surprised! This is a nice blush/highlight combo and I really love it. I also love that it's vegan and made with natural products.

Chella Eyebrow Cream in Tantalizing Taupe ($26 US)
We’re SO over blah brows. This ultra-pigmented cream helps you fake fullness, and shapes and defines your arches to perfection—no $$$ microblading required. When it’s a gajillion degrees outside, anything that doesn’t stay put is a total deal breaker. So we’re happy to say that we wore this budge-proof baby to a pool party and our brows stayed put well after sundown.
I don’t love cream-anything for makeup, however I love the Chella brand and am sad we can't get it here in Canada. I will give this product a go when I have some time to sit down and perfect the cream brow.

tarte cosmetics Rainforest of the Sea™ deep dive cleansing gel (7.5ml, $1.25)
Dissolve waterproof makeup with this hypoallergenic, non-drying cleanser that’s ideal for daily use.
Seafood? It’s vegan, so antioxidant marine ingredients like algae and marine flower extract are the only food we see! (It’s food for your skin. Don’t eat this gel, even though it smells amazing.)
Turn your medicine cabinet into a mermaid’s treasure trove with the irresistible under-the-sea packaging.

I love tarte makeup products, but am sad to see how tiny this sample is. It will be good for one use, but not much else. It smells great and the full size bottle is a reasonable price.

111SKIN Space Defence Bright Eye Gel (5ml, $47.76 US)
We can’t all get 8 hours of shut-eye every night, but we can def fake it ‘til we make it thanks to this next level under-eye gel! From brightening and minimizing puffiness to hydrating and minimizing fine lines, we can’t help but wonder: Is there anything it *doesn’t* do?The skin-perfecting formula is mega lightweight, so it creates the perfect base to help keep your concealer smooth and crease-free.
You FANCY. This stuff is one of the most luxe products we’ve ever featured!

Based on price alone and the fact that ipsy states this is the most “luxe” product they've ever featured, I'll give it a shot! It primarily sold in the U.K. so I hope I don't fall in love with it - but am excited to use it as my sleep hasn't been great lately and my poor bags are letting everyone know it!

The July ipsy Glam Bag included five products and had a retail value of $99 US. This box cost me $20.21 CDN with exchange. There was two full size products, one deluxe sample size and two sample size. I’m happy again with my Glam Bag this month and the blush/Chella eyebrow cream have got to be my faves! Ipsy has definitely been impressing me more and more lately.
