Hello Gorgeous!

Product booklet

This little booklet is full of info on all the featured brands and products and also includes styling tips, right from Rachel Zoe.
First look!

Beauty Counter Protect Stick Sunscreen ($18)
Compact and easy to use, our kid-friendly Protect Stick Sunscreen provides water-resistant sun protection for the entire family. Organic ingredients, including coconut oil and acai fruit oil, help to hydrate and protect your skin. Formulated with non-nano zinc oxide, our Stick Sunscreen provides sheer protection from UVA/UVB rays and glides on smoothly without leaving white residue.
This is a zinc-oxide based mineral sunscreen that goes on clear. Love it and can't wait to put it to use this summer.
Beauty Counter Color Pinch Cream Blusher in Hibiscus ($37)
Color Pinch Cream Blusher brightens cheeks with natural, dewy color. Jojoba ester and carnauba wax condition and hydrate skin, making the smooth, non-sticky formula easy to apply on the go.
This is a multi-use product that can do double-duty as a lip gloss or cheek stain. It's a great product for summer, when we scale back our makeup use and go for a fresh & natural look.

Raen Durante Sunglasses in Black ($150)
When I first saw the spoiler, I didn't think I would like this style, but I actually love them. The flat, oversized fit is incredibly flattering for my face, and the quality is fantastic. They are strong and sturdy, and with proper care, will last for years to come. My only complaint is that they didn't come with the proper Raen packaging - a box, with a felt case, and a dust cloth. You can see them on the Raen website (here). Instead we got a cheap cloth pouch, which is not the best place to store a quality pair of sunglasses.

The Brave Collection Compass Necklace ($115)
Wear your Compass with a joyful spirit for all that lies ahead. This necklace was handmade in Cambodia by a local artisan to empower women across the globe. Sterling Silver with Rhodium/Brass with Micron Plated 14K Gold.

I LOVE this necklace. The charm is gorgeous, and as a traveller, I love what it symbolizes. I do have a minor complaint, and it's much like the sunglasses. This necklace isn't quite the same as the one advertised online. We did not receive the cloth storage pouch, and the chain is only 16" with no extender instead of an 18" chain with a 16" option, as described on the website.
Sole Society Straw Panama Hat with Poms ($27)
Add vacation vibes to your look with this lightweight straw hat designed with a stylish pom band.
This hat is super cute and it will get major wear this summer. It arrived a little scrunched, but it flattened out in no time.
Helena Quinn x Box of Style Kimono ($120)
This is an exclusive collaboration between Helena Quinn and Rachel Zoe. It's very similar to Helena Quinn's original pieces (closest to this one), except it's made of polyester instead of silk. It's a nice piece, but I don't feel it's worth the suggested price. If I was making this purchase, I would pay the extra 20 bucks and get the 100% silk option.
Now for styling ideas... it can be used as a robe (although it's sheer), a beach cover up, or a lightweight layering piece. Try it over jeans and a t-shirt, a crisp blouse and trousers, or a fitted black shift dress. The latter is my preferred look. This is a one-size item, and I estimate it would fit up to a size 12 or 14.

The Summer 2017 Box of Style from The Zoe Report included six items, valued over $467 US! That's not bad for a box that costs $100 US, plus $20 shipping to Canada... and an additional $25 COD. Despite a couple minor complaints about product packaging, I love this box. I was pleasantly surprised by the sunglasses, necklace, and hat. All three will be put into regular rotation. I'm happy with the beauty items, as they are seasonally appropriate and will be useful.

  1. Some great mix of things inside and the value is pretty good for the price on it too.
