The theme for June is Summer Fling.

The pamphlet on top has some ideas for simple summer gestures of love. It includes things like meet up at the park for a picnic instead of dining at home, find a food truck and eat curbside, go for an ice cream date, and more simple inexpensive ideas!

First look!

The monthly Date Mail activity pamphlet includes five ideas, plus some extras.

Postcard Fun
Write things you'd like to do this summer, or each of you write something on them that your partner doesn't know about you. One of the postcards is from Dirty Laundry, a winery in Summerland, in the Okanagan of BC. I've been there. It's a good one!

Date Night Recipe
Rosé Wine Slushie! "Frosé" is all the rage this summer. This recipe uses rosé wine, simple syrup, and sliced strawberries. Yum!

Flying Wishes
This card is called Flying Wishes Paper. The thin papers inside the card are where you write your wishes, then roll it up, light it with a match, and watch it fly away. Neat idea! But be careful where you do this.... forest fire season is up on us on the West Coast!

Mint To Be
Couples that grow together stay together. Plant some mint together and watch it grow. And once it's grown, make some mojitos.

Midnight Snack
What's purple and grows in the Okanagan? Lavender! This is a sweet treat with summer flavour. Be sure to share. This bar is from Liv a Lil in West Kelowna, BC.

The Morning After
These are fruit flavoured syrups are from Summerland Sweets, in Summerland and the Brainy Bee honey comes from Kaye's Apiary in Kelowna!  I'm loving products from the Okanagan region of BC this month. The Okanagan is known for growing the best fruit and produce in the province (and maybe even Western Canada). Use these for a little breakfast in bed!

The June box from Date Mail themed "Summer Fling" included six products and a bunch of ideas and suggestions for how to maintain a loving relationship all summer long. I'm loving all the products sourced from the Okanagan of BC. When I think of summer, I think of Kelowna with it's pristine lake, delicious farm fresh fruit, and world-class wine region. It's a great place for a romantic weekend getaway, so it makes perfect sense that Date Mail would seek inspiration from the region.

Interested in trying Date Mail? The July box is themed "Best of Love Box" and it celebrates Date Mail's 6-month anniversary!
