The products chosen represent all genres from movies, television, video games, internet, and more! There are several Blocks to choose from: Nerd Block Classic, Gamer Block, Comic Block, Horror Block, Sci-Fan Block, Nerd Block Jr. Boys, and Nerd Block Jr. Girls. There's also a new, officially licensed, bi-monthly Dr. Who box! While boxes ship from within Canada, keep in mind that Nerd Block bills in US dollars.

You can skip or cancel any time, and you can even change your block from month to month. Classic, Horror, and Gamer Blocks can be switched between each other. To switch your block all you have to do is log into your account to view your switching option.

First look!

The theme for the May box is "Heroes for Hire".

We have six items this month and all of them are Nerd Block Exclusives!

Deadpool Mug & Spoon Set
This set came with two little stirring spoons that go in the back of the mug. I accidentally broke one when taking it out of the box though! You can see the effect in the picture on the box. It's a pretty cute idea.

Deadpool Coaster
This ceramic coaster is meant to go with the mug to be a set. The coaster has a bit of an edge rather than being flat so it makes the perfect little trinket tray.

Baby Groot 3D Magnet
This little model of Baby Groot has magnets on the back. Use it as a desk accessory to hold paper clips and tacs, or stick it on your fridge.

Guardians of the Galaxy Mix Tape T-Shirt
This t-shirt is pretty cool! It's brown which gives it a bit of a retro vibe.

Alias Investigations Business Card Holder
I LOVE Jessica Jones on  Netflix. Luke Cage is pretty good too. I like that they threw in something to represent a female super hero!

Inside we find a Jessica Jones business card!

Laces Out Pin
This pin is inspired by Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Alrighty then!

The May Nerd Block Classic included six items to fit a "Heroes for Hire" theme. The products are well thought out, and I love the little write ups for each one in the mini-mag. The curator Stephen explained his rationale for choosing each item and how they fit the theme.  June's theme is "Badass Women".  I can't wait to see that one!
