Early June, Luxe Box sent an email stating that they’ve updated their packaging to come in a NEW sleeker box. Their reasoning was to reduce packaging material to then in turn be more environmentally friendly. I love the new box, it’s super sleek. In that same email, they also advised us that from now on, Luxe Box will not come with a tracking number, but that the boxes will still arrive on time, or earlier than normal. My Summer Luxe Box arrived on June 12th. When I picked it out of my mailbox, initially I had no idea what it was. It was only once I opened up my package, did I figure out that it was my Luxe Box. My digital Product Card arrived to my inbox on June 16th.

Since Topbox has taken over the Luxe Box subscription (click here for a refresher), I have noticed a lot of duplicate products between the boxes. Product duplication is crappy for people like myself, who subscribe to both boxes.

We weren't given the opportunity to opt for the “eco friendly” drawstring bag and I noted that because of the tight quarters, there is no more room for extras like the last few boxes had.

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Paradise Blush - Full Size ($24.95)
By popular demand, the Paradise Blush was taken from the Day Dream Palette and was created as an individual blush. The vivid cherry blossom pink powder blush creates a beautiful glow to the face.
This is a lovely colour and I’m happy to receive a new blush as my current blush is getting low.

Sweet Suds Company ICE ICE BABY Popsicle Soap ($15)
Our handmade soaps LOOK good enough to eat. Loaded with luxurious ingredients like goat milk, shea butter and coconut oil your body is sure to feel pampered.

This soap is so cute and smells delicious. It looks like all subscribers received this product in the “Pink Berry” scent.

Medusa's Make-Up Witch Lash Mascara ($12)
Medusa's Makeup Witch Lash Mascara adds length and volume to your lashes with an easy to apply flexible rubber wand.
I love both mascara and the Medusa brand. It’s a cruelty-free and vegan formula that works quite well.

AvryBeauty Jelly Spa Bath Lavender ($3)
Pour Step 1 - Jelly Spa bath in a foot tub with warm water. As the water turns into jelly, soak your feet for a relaxing heat therapy. Pour Step 2 - Dilution Mineral to dilute the jelly and drain the water.
I’m down to give this a try after a long day on my feet; I will try this before bed in case it makes me sleepy.

belif The True Cream - Aqua Bomb (10ml, $10.64)
Instantly hydrating, lightweight gel cream. Clinically proven to increase hydration levels by 18%. Perfect for all skin types.
I also received this in my June Topbox. The True Cream Aqua Bomb is an ultra-lightweight, mineral oil-free gel-cream that instantly cools and refreshes skin while providing intensive hydration. I was able to use it on my first burn of the summer and it provided some relief.

Cake The ‘Do Gooder Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray - Travel Size ($10)
Spray generously into hair in sections, concentrating on scalp and roots. Lightly brush through.

I received this in my April 2017 Topbox but am excited to receive it again as I just ran out. It smells fantastic, with hints of vanilla, caramel and citrus. It works well and it's vegan.

Trind North America Caring Color in Dark Tan ($13)
This is the raunchiest colour and it looks like poop. I don’t know who would eve want to wear this? Yuck.

DDM Cosmetics Matte HD Liquid Lipstick in Christine ($9.99)
This innovative formula saturates lips with moisture for full matte coverage that is non-transferable, won't dry out or crack your lips.
This colour is great and the matte formula is long-lasting.

The Summer 2017 Luxe Box included eight products, valued at $98.59 CDN. This box costs $26 per season, so the value is great. My only issue with this box is the product repetition from Topbox, and after looking at various posts on social media, there was not a huge product variation between subscribers either. Overall, I think it is a good box and will enjoy all of the items minus the poop-coloured polish.
