First look!

Lake Champlain Chocolates ($1.50)
These little all natural chocolate squares are made in Vermont. Subscribers received one Milk Chocolate and one Dark Chocolate Hazelnut. They were both very tasty!

Papermart Paper Straws ($1)
I'm using paper straws more and more, since I learned how bad plastic straws are for the environment. Plastic straws aren't recyclable, but paper straws are biodegradable and can be composted. They're also super stylish!

Manna Kadar Flutter Mascara ($29)
Flutter Mascara has an intense curling lash effect. I can't wait to give it a try!

Kendra Phillip Chloe Ring ($22)
This minimalist ring is so pretty. I'm heading to Vegas soon and was looking for the perfect silver-tone ring to bring along. This is it!

The Magic of Motherhood by Ashlee Gado ($18.99 retail)
This book celebrates life as a mom - the good stuff, the hard stuff, and everything in between. It's a collection of stories from women who have experienced motherhood in different ways. I flipped through and read a couple. The essays are beautifully written and come straight from the heart. I plan to pass this on to a friend who is expecting her first child.

The book is filled with stories, photos, and inspirational quotes like this one. It's such a great gift for Mother's Day.

The May Mommy Mailbox included five items, valued over $72 US. For a Mother's Day box, this one is pretty great. The book alone would have been fantastic. The extra items are just icing on the cake. The ring is my favourite, and the book will make a wonderful shower gift.
