About the Bag:
I scream, you scream, we all scream for this Glam Bag dream! May's bag (inspired by our fave Summer Friday treat) is water resistant, AKA perf for making a splash at pool parties! How cute is this bag?! LOVE!
Each month Ipsy sends a sneak peak email where you can view what your products are going to be before they arrive. Here's what my dashboard looked like:
When you login to your ipsy account online or using the app, you can click on your Glam Bag products and then you can select “learn more”. Once inside, ipsy lists some reasons “Why you’ll love it” and at the bottom of each product page, there’s also a “How to use it” section with detailed instructions, tips and photos.

First look!

Pixi by Petra Endless Silky Eye Pen in BlackNoir (0.8g, $8 US)
Don’t be a drag. This super smooth, silky liner glides on like a dream (no tugging here!) and dries ASAP, so your lines stay perfectly sharp and smudge-free. Trust us when we say the formula is SO waterproof. We even gave it a test run by watching the epic tearjerker Titanic and it did. not. budge.
I had no idea that Pixi even made makeup! (For some reason I thought they were just a skincare company). I don’t typically use pencil eyeliner, but the waterproof claim intrigues me with the upcoming Summer months. I will have to give you an update with how this goes and thankfully I received black!

Briogeo Rosarco Milk™ Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray (22ml, $3 US)
Hair milk? Sounds weird, but it’s actually amazing! This one has all the benefits of a hair cream, but in an ultra lightweight mist that hydrates and tames frizz on ALL hair types! Feeling knotty? Spritz on damp hair and comb through for some major detangling action.
I’ve received other Briogeo products before, including in my ipsy glam bag from January - I’m not complaining though, their products are excellent. This spray has left my hair silky smooth and I applied it before blow drying. This spray is enriched with radish seed extract and rosehip oil, powerful antioxidants to shield hair from free radical damage and UV rays, whilst controlling frizz and delivering intense hydration.

Jelly Pong Pong Supercharged Super Intense Eyeshadow Duo in Electric - Full Size ($22.95 US)
We have zero chill when it comes to creased eyeshadow and this velvety powder is a smooooooth operator. (That means no creasing, even on oily lids.) Fallouts are for frenemies. The stay-put shadow won’t mess up your makeup when blending. It’s in it for the long haul! The pigment-packed color stays vivid and bold all day (and we mean ALL day).
I don’t use eyeshadow daily but these gold and rose shades are gorgeous! I’m excited to sport these colours when I need to get fancy for a Summer shindig. Also, Jelly Pong is a vegan, gluten-free and hypoallergenic brand that does not use parabens or phthalates.

Mellow Cosmetics Creamy Matte Lipstick in Posh - Full Size ($13 US)
It’s SO creamy and moisturizing, you won’t believe it’s matte. Dry lips? As if. Thanks to a healthy infusion of Vitamin E, this stuff makes our pouts insanely silky, satiny, and smooth. Understated is the new bold. These gorg nude shades are perf for owning a “no makeup makeup” moment (if you’re into that sorta thing).
I’ve said it time and time again, but I am love with matte lips. This shade is gorgeous, and unlike other brands, even though it is a matte product, it leaves the lips silky smooth. I have never heard of Mellow Cosmetics before, but I am a fan.

IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara in Black - (0.17oz, $13.60 US)
We’ve tried like, a gajillion mascaras (estimated number) and only a select few have earned Superhero status in our hearts. So we’re happy to report that this volumizing wonder lives up to its name and TOTALLY saves the day when it comes to our puny lashes.
I love receiving mascara and this one works well. It gives the falsie effect by coating every lash, stretching and fanning them out. This is a sample size, but it is over half the size of the full bottle.

The May ipsy Glam Bag included five products and had a retail value of $59.95 US. This box cost me $20.91 CDN with exchange. Two of the five products are full-sized and the rest are samples, but they are generous and not too tiny. I’m satisfied with my Glam Bag this month and I appreciate the product diversity I received. The products I’m happiest about is the Mellow Cosmetics Matte Lipstick, IT Superhero Mascara and the Briogeo Leave-in Conditioning Spray
