This box was provided complimentary for review.

What is it? Yard Krate
How much? $24.99/,plus $12 shipping. Prices in Canadian dollars.
What's in it? A package full of organic environmentally friendly landscaping supplies.

Yard Krate is a new Canadian subscription box that makes taking care of your lawn and garden super easy. Each month, Yard Krate delivers environmentally friendly landscaping supplies so you can keep your property looking its best. Products include organic fertilizers, nematodes, organic herbicides, and more. Click here to learn more.

The products were packed into a small, loose-weave burlap bag and then placed into the box.

The product sheet includes simple, yet detailed instructions for a better lawn.

Gardening Gloves
Step one - put on your gloves!

Canadian Tire Yard Waste Bags and Bag to Nature Compostable Trash Bags
Step two - Rake. Lightly rake up any winter yard debris and pull any stray weeds.

Green it pH Analysis Kit and Bond Weeding Tool
Step Three - Test. Use the kit to test the pH level in our soil. Your aim is a reading between 6.0 and 8.0. If it's below 6.0, you made need to add some lime. If it's above 8.0, you may need to add some garden sulphur. The weeder is included to hand pull weeds, as part of Step Two. A note about this pH test - the kit isn't available for sale on its own, rather it's sold in a "Lawn in a Box" kit along with two Green it fertilizers (see here).

Green It Liquid Corn Gluten Fertilizer with Hose Spray Applicator
Step 5 - Treat. After raking, weeding, and testing the pH of your lawn,it's time to fertilize. The sprayer attaches to your garden hose so it's very easy to apply. One bottle covers 361 square meters. This 4-0-0 Liquid Corn Gluten fertalizer is meant to be used in Spring and Summer. This product appears to have come from the "Lawn in a Box kit" as well. There's no bar code on the bottle, and no ingredients/warnings label.

The April Yard Krate box included compostable yard waste bags, a pH test kit, garden gloves, and a weeder. This month's kit is intended to help you get your yard cleaned up and lay a solid foundation for the rest of the season. I couldn't put a retail value on this box, but I'm confident these products are worth the monthly subscription cost. This box is great for people looking for extra help and tips on how to keep their lawn looking great, all season long. Yard Krate takes the guess work out of lawn maintenance by sending you what your lawn needs, when your lawn needs it. This box would be a great and unique gift for a new homeowner, and even better as a Father's Day gift for a lawn-doting dad!
