What is it? Topbox
How Much? $12 per month plus tax, shipping included (CDN$)
What’s in it?  4 deluxe beauty samples

Topbox is a Canadian subscription service that sends four deluxe samples from top beauty brands each month. Topbox is the premiere monthly beauty subscription box in Canada and at only $12 per month, plus tax, it's an affordable option for those just getting into the world of beauty boxes. Topbox tends to include a lot of skincare products with some cosmetics. They tend to feature higher end drugstore and department store brands. You can expect to see Lise Watier, Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, and Benefit, along with some new and niche brands.

You can see all our previous Topbox reviews here.

I received the regular Topbox this month. Each month you are asked to fill out a survey and you can bid to receive a Prive Topbox, or you can opt to get a regular one. I opted for a regular Topbox this month. I received the shipping information for my March Topbox the same day it was delivered, again. This is common for Topbox as this has happened for the last few months.

This Digital Product Card showed up in my inbox a day after my Topbox was delivered.

Dove Advanced Hair Series Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair-Serum (bonus)
These Dove Haircare samples were tossed in the mailing bag along with the organza bag containing the products listed on my digital product card. They seem to be a bonus this month, since everyone received one and it isn't included on the digital product card.
Jill: This pack was also in the Spring Luxebox (also owned by Topbox).

Eyeko London Black Magic Mascara (4.5ml, $13.00US)
Designed for after-hours seduction, our ultimate mascara combines three key elements to create drama, volume and curl, packaged into our iconic squeezy tube.
The product card said this mascara is available at Sephora, but I could not find it on either their Canadian or American website. I appreciate this mascara as it does create volume and curl, which is always welcomed for my poker straight lashes.

Redken No Blow Dry NBD Just Right Cream For Medium Hair (150ml, No price available)
Just Right Cream provides easy and soft air dry with effortless control and movement to hair without a hair dryer.
This product is only available for purchase from salons. I just had my hair done and my hair stylist recommended this product to me because I usually leave my hair to air dry at least once a week. It’s meant to be used if you’re tight on time, taking a break from heat tools or looking for effortless style.

Cake Beauty Desserted Island Supreme Body Mousse (30ml, $2.64)
A richly whipped body lotion with extreme hydrators that leave skin lightly scented and highly moisturized.
This body mousse smells amazing - practically the beach in a bottle! This is also a Canadian, vegan product which will be used up right away.
Jill: This sample was also in the Spring Luxebox!

Bella Aura Skincare Night Cellular Renewal (10ml, $36.67)
Our remarkable Multi–Functional Emulsion significantly reduces the appearance of multiple signs of aging.  It contains our Kamilah blend combined with breakthrough technology of the active Swiss botanical ingredients.
I’m interested in this product as it claims to to nourish, replenish, renew, rejuvenate, and re-balance skin to create a more radiant glow. I just hit my 30’s and I’m looking to take care of my skin.

My March Topbox included four products, plus the bonus Dove hair care samples. The retail value of the products, not including the Redken No Blow Dry Cream, is $53.88, which is a good value for Topbox. All the products are sample sized, but are not too small. It's a good mix of products this month with skincare, body products, hair and cosmetics. Overall, this is a very affordable beauty subscription and I am happy with this month.
