What's in it? 5 surprise luxury beauty products packaged in a glossy pink gift box

Glossybox is a deluxe beauty sampling program, operating in more than a dozen countries worldwide. They consider themselves the "leading purveyor of luxury beauty samples on a global stage". Each month Glossybox sends 5 luxury beauty products and samples. Products in your Glossybox are selected based on your beauty profile, age, location, and sign-up date. There is an assortment of items each month, so your box may not include the items featured in this review. Categories include makeup, hair care, nail care, skincare, tools, and more.

It's been almost a year since I last received a Glossybox. I cancelled my subscription after another competitive beauty box came to the Canadian market. I’ve still been following Glossybox on social media and have been reading reviews - they’ve seemed to pick up their game a bit lately. I’m excited to do this review for you.

I would like to give an honorable mention to the packaging - it’s still one of the best in the industry, in my opinion.
March’s Theme is Woman Crush #GLOSSYcrush

You are our crush! With International Women’s Day on March 8th, we wanted to take this month to highlight and acknowledge YOU. Being that we’re a female-centric company, we don’t aim to celebrate women for one day, but rather each and every day. While we know the definition of success is personal, we believe supporting each other and helping each other succeed are what make a woman strong and powerful. With star products from both tarte cosmetics and CATRICE Cosmetics, we’re confident that all of the products in our #GLOSSYcrush March box will spruce up your makeup bag!

The first change I noticed is that the product info card is now a pamphlet with exclusive offers and product details. It’s not completely detailed to what I received and encompasses all of the products available to Glossybox subscribers for the month.

Tarte BB tinted treatment primer 12-hour primer SPF in Medium - Full Size ($36 US)
This creamy, lightweight multi-tasker also helps hydrate, correct and protect skin while providing light-to-medium buildable coverage for a radiant, youthful-looking complexion.
This is an amazing product. I really love that it has SPF but is light-weight. It’s a hint dark for my skin tone but I think it will work for me in the summer.

CATRICE Cosmetics Absolute Rose Eyeshadow Palette 010 - Full Size ($6.99 US)
Soft nudes and trendy rosé shades combine in this palette to showcase those gorgeous eyes of yours!
This product is no longer available on the CATRICE Cosmetics website, so this tells me it’s an older product; maybe from another season? I like the shades and they will go well with my blue eyes.

Etre Belle Cosmetics Golden Skin Roll-on Caviar Eye Gel - Full Size ($45.00)
We all want to look refreshed even if we didn’t get out full 8 hours of beauty sleep. Etre Belle’s Golden Skin Roll-on erases signs of fatigue by firming and resuscitating tired skin around the eyes.
The card lists a full size as 0.5oz, and this tube is labelled as 0.34oz, as is the tube in the photo on my product brochure. The website confirms that 0.34oz is a full size, so I'm not sure if they were just rounding up or what? I know I received this product in a previous Glossybox, So I looked through my Instagram photos to see that I last received it in the February 2016 Glossybox. I’m not thrilled that it’s a repeat product or that it’s an eye gel, but I’ll give it another shot.

STUDIO | 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner - Full Size ($20 US)
Brows have made a major comeback and to help you sift through endless products, we’ve brought you STUDIO | 10’s double-sided brow liner to naturally define and highlight.
I’ve received this liner before from Glossybox - last April to be precise. It’s a great product and all profits go to Look Good Feel Better, a charity which supports women with cancer. It’s a quality product and I’m okay with receiving another one.

Eb5 Anti-Aging Skincare: Cleansing Lotion & Toning Formula - ($2.50 US)
Non-Irritating and highly moisturizing, eb5’s Cleansing Lotion contains Oat Proteins and Vitamins E and B5 to nourish and moisturize, while the Lactic Acid gently and subtly exfoliates the skin.
If I’m going to receive anti-aging skincare products, I’m happy it’s cleanser and toner - I loathe face cream. The cleanser has a subtle scent and seemed to be gentle on my sensitive skin. The toner did not dry out my face. Win-win.

Incoco Nail Polish Applique - Full Size ($8 US)
Perfect for the lady on-the-go, these nail appliques are made from 100% real nail polish and feature modern designs with a long-lasting finish.
This is listed as a BONUS item this month. I don’t love polish because I get my nails done in a salon, but the pattern is gorgeous. Whoever I gift these to will be pleased.

The March Glossybox included seven products, valued at $118 US. It's a pretty good box. I appreciate all the products except the eye gel and the nail polish appliques. The product sizes are all full-sized except the Eb5 Skincare. Click here to see some of the other products that were available to subscribers in March as each box is a variation. It’s interesting to see Mary Kay Products in there? Not too bad for my first Glossybox back. I’m satisfied.
