YumYum Candy is a new Canadian subscription box that sends a monthly assortment of candies from around the world. There's flavours to satisfy each of your taste buds. Items will be unique, nostalgic, hard-to-find, or ridiculously yummy. The I-Joy box contains 7-10 full size items and the We-Joy box, meant for sharing, contains 12-15 full size items.

Yum Yum Candy subscriptions are unique in that they only recur for as long as you want them to. You can choose a 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, or 12 month subscription. Pay for the box monthly. It only auto-renews for the length of your term. If you wish to cancel earlier, just e-mail Yum Yum before the 25th of the month. Boxes ship via Canada Post between the 20th and 25th of each month.

This is a review for the We-Joy box.

The product card details each item, including country of origin. Most items this month are from the UK or USA. There are 15 items in the box.

First look!

Bubble Rubble Bubble Gum Nuggets in Strawberry (USA)
Strawberry bubble gum is an old favourite!

Pop Rocks Popping Candy in  Green Apple (USA)
As a kid, I loved pop rocks. The popping and fizzing sensation in the mouth was more fun than the candy itself.

Kabaya Mini Grape Candies  (Japan)
These candies start sour then dissolve into a chewy and sweet taffy.

Slap Stix Caramel (USA)
This caramel pop has a banana flavoured nougat swirl in the centre!

Bonomo Turkish Taffy in Strawberry (USA)
This is another old time favourite, but after travelling around Turkey for nearly a month, I can confirm there is no such thing as Turkish Taffy in Turkey. The candy's wiki page confirms this!

Megaloads Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jelly Cups (USA)
These are modelled after Reece Peanut Butter Cups, but instead of chocolate outside with peanut butter filling, they are peanut butter outside with jelly filling.

Air Heads Bites in Berry (USA)
These are very similar to Skittles - little chewy candies in assorted berry flavours.

Mamba Sour Chews (USA)
These sour chews were very tasty. Similar to Starburst in texture. I didn't find them very sour though.

Chewits in Cola Flavour (UK)
It  seems like all the cola flavoured candies come from the UK. I liked these ones!

Nestle 100 Grand Bar (USA)
This bar is amazing. It's a crunchy chocolate shell with a chewy caramel centre.

U-No Chocolate Bar (USA)
This bar has a truffle-like centre and is coated in milk chocolate and almonds.

Wispa Bar (UK)
This bar is similr to Aero. It's chocolate with tiny air bubbles, which gives it a creamy, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Terry's Chocolate Orange Slices
These chocolates are flavoured with orange oil and have a subtle popping crystal candy inside.

Rebanditas Watermelon & Chili Powder Pop (Mexico)
This one looks a little too weird to eat. It's a mix of sweet watermelon and spicy chili.

I put it aside for my boyfriend to give it a try.

Old Fashioned Candy Buttons (USA)
These tiny dots have big flavour. There's lemon, lime, and cherry.

The February We-Joy box from Yum Yum Candy included 15 candies. I couldn't do a valuation on this collection, but based on the monthly cost of $36.99, it works out to $2.47 per item. Some items are rare and hard to find, which also adds to the value. The winner in this box was the 100 Grand bar. I want more!
