It's been six months since my last Glossybox review. I cancelled my subscription after some shipping issues. Click here for a refresher. Since June, I've been following Glossybox on other review sites and reading comments from subscribers. The common complaint seems to be poor customer service and inconsistent box value. I'm curious to see if there has been any improvement.

The first change I noticed is that the product info card now includes coupon codes for the monthly products, as well as a sneak preview for the coming month. The coupon codes are only valid at Ulta, so Canadians are out of luck!

First look!

Daily Concepts Exfoliating Body Scrubber ($5)
This scrubber has a regular texture side when you need more exfoliation and soft texture for the more gentle parts of your body. There is also a label that fades so you know when it's time to replace your scrubber.

AG Hair Cleansing Cream Foam-Free Hair Wash (2oz, $4)
This hair was is designed for super dry and brittle hair. It contains seaberry oil and seaweed extract to nourish and condition. A full size is 12oz for $24.

La Theorie Des Volcans Noir Eternae Youth Potion Face Scrub (1oz, $32)
This vegan and cruelty-free product is made in France! It's a daily cleanser, scrub, and mask in one.

oOlution Eye Love (0.5oz, $37)
This is an ultra-thin penetrating eye cream that makes eyes fresh and bright. It's another vegan and cruelty-free product from France.

Universal Beauty Cosmetics Secret Flush ($20)
This cream blush and lip stain in one is a great way to add some subtle flush. It has a light, creamy texture, blends effortlessly, and instantly brightens.

The January Glossybox included five products, valued at $98 US. It's a pretty decent box. I like all the products and the product sizes are all very generous. Only one is a sample and the rest are full size! It looks like there were only a couple box variations this month (my box says V01) . Click here to see some of the other products available. The valuation for each variation box is supposed to be around $99. It looks like Glossybox took customer concerns seriously and has worked to ensure all variations are of equal value.
