What is it? The Confection Club
How Much? $9.99/month, including shipping. Save on 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions. Prices in Canadian dollars.
What’s in it? A brand new Alicja Confections chocolate bar flavour every month.

The Confection Club is a new monthly subscription from Alicja Confections which sends a brand new chocolate bar flavour, wrapped in fancy gold foil. Subscribers get to try a new, awesome flavour before it becomes part of the Alicja Confections product line. All the bars are designed and handmade by Alicja, the "owner, creator, chocolate magician" behind Alicja Confections.

Alicja Confections is a handmade chocolate and confectionery dream! We're big on crazy flavours like milk chocolate potato chip, white chocolate pop rocks, and more!

Bars ship on the 5th of each month from Ottawa, Ontario. Subscribe by the first of the month to receive that month's bar.

The package is small enough to fit in a condo sized mailbox. Inside the gold foil you'll find a bar tucked inside bubble wrap.

Tropical Heatwave ($8)
This 100 gram bar is made with 58% dark chocolate and covered with dried tropical fruit like pineapple, papaya, kiwi, mango, strawberry, and star fruit. I love the colourful packaging. Alicja designs the packaging as well!

This is the backside of the wrapper. It's called a "Postcard Chocolate Bar". This bar is ready for mailing. Just add some stamps and write in an address. I don't know why you would mail it though. You're better to keep it for yourself! If you do plan on mailing a bar, just remember to affix enough postage. In Canada, letter mail up to 100 grams costs $1.80. It's $2.95 for 100 to 200 grams.

This is how the bar looked out of the envelope. It's wrapped in cello to keep it safe. The bar is 16 x 7 x 1 centimetres and weighs 100 grams. The flip side is a grid of 4 x 6 rectangle pieces. I broke off the bottom corner and tried a piece with dried kiwi. It was super tasty. The chocolate is rich, with the perfect amount of bitterness. The dried fruit added a pop of flavour and interesting texture.

The January Alicja Confections bar from The Confection  Club was a fun fruity bar with tropical flavours. This bar is fantastic, as I'm sure all Alicja's bars are! I want to try the Cereal & Milk bar and the Tiger Tail bar So many fun flavours! This subscription would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves quality chocolate and fun flavours.
