What’s in it? 5-8 handmade, artisan, and local products made by BC vendors

Vancity Box is a Canadian subscription box focusing on handmade artisan products from Vancouver, BC and the surrounding area. With Vancity Box, you will get 5-8 products, with a retail value of up to $80. Items range from clothing, accessories, snacks, knits, scarves, socks, soaps, body lotion, creams, beef jerky, art pieces, and things you can only get in Vancouver.

Living in Vancouver for so many years made us fall in love with everything it has to offer. Whether it be the nature in our backyard, countless types of foods and restaurants, active and healthy lifestyle choices, or the number of small businesses that make up more than 90% of companies in BC. We can really agree that it is the best place to live!

This month we have some crinkle paper, but still no product card. Baby steps!

Modus DOM Single Origin Whole Bean Coffee ($21.50)
Modus coffees are roasted in Vancouver for the discerning palate. DOM is a single origin roast from El Salvador. It has hints of chocolate, dark fruits, nougat, and raw sweetness. This batch was roasted December 28th so it's super fresh!

Zen Tea Life Seven Treasures Green Tea (3.5oz tin, $13)
This fruity green tea blends Sencha, Gunpowder, Chun Mee, and Pi Lo Chun green teas, along with sweet strawberry and pineapple pieces. It smells fantastic and would be wonderful iced.

Beth & Olivia Owl Guest Soap ($9.50)
This Vancouver based company makes handmade bath and body products. This lavender and lemon scented guest soap is almost too pretty to use!

Lavender Sachet (~$5)
This sachet is filled with dried lavender, mixed with a few drops of lavender essential oil. Store it in a drawer or closet to keep linens fresh and repel insects. There is no indication on the tag which company makes this product.

Beth & Olivia Earl Grey Lip Butter ($6)
This lip balm is for tea lovers! It's made with shea butter, olive oil, coconut oil, and beeswax. I received this once before and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

The January Vancity Box includes five products, valued around $55 Canadian. The value isn't very high this month, but I'm pleased with the products, especially the Modus Coffee!
