Molr Dental Club Review - Canadian Dental Care Subscription Box

This package was provided complimentary for review.
What is it? Molr Dental Club
How Much? Starts at $7 per shipment, plus tax. Shipping varies. Prices in US dollars.
What’s in it? Simple, effective oral health products sent to you exactly when you need them

Molr Dental Club is a new Canadian subscription that sends oral care products straight to your door. Dentists recommend you change your toothbrush four times per year, but if you're like me, you only change it when you go to the dentist and get a new free one! Molr Dental Club sends simple, effective oral health products, exactly when you need them. You can select your shipment frequency (every 2 or 3 months) and add additional products to your shipment.

There are a few different subscription options to choose from, and this review will look at all the different combinations and the products available for purchase. This is not a review of a typical mailing. When you subscribe, you will receive one of the five packages detailed below.

The packaging is great! The mailing tube is stuffed with branded tissue paper. It fits in a condo sized mail box. The Ultimate Pack and the Electric Boogaloo 2 come in the mailing tube. The other packs come in a mailing envelope. Packs that include toothpaste are charged $5 shipping due to the added size and weight. Packs without toothpaste offer free shipping!

Select from these subscription options:

Base Camp - $7 per shipment, free shipping
Base Camp is the bare bones subscription. Get a new toothbrush and pack of floss every 2 or 3 months. Choose your toothbrush colour and floss type. This bundle is valued at $8.50.

The Lovers Pack - $11 per shipment, free shipping
Perfect for a family of two, this pack includes two toothbrushes and one pack of floss. These items are valued at $12.50.

Il Ultimo Paccheto - $16 per shipment, add $5 shipping
The ultimate package includes a full size tube of Marvis toothpaste in the flavour or your choosing, one charcoal infused bristle toothbrush, and one pack of dental floss. Purchased separately, these items would cost $20.50.

Electric Boogaloo - $13 per shipment, free shipping
This pack includes two electric toothbrush heads and a pack of floss. At this time, only Sonicare toothbrush heads are available.

Electric Boogaloo 2: The Freshness - $19 per shipment, add $5 shipping
Version 2 of Boogaloo gets you the full meal deal - two electric toothbrush heads, a full size tube of Marvis toothpaste, and a pack of floss.

You can also add-on additional products to your shipment.

Molr toothbrushes feature a compact, tapered shape and come in four different colours (pink and black also available). The Binchotan charcoal infused bristles are extra soft on your teeth and gums. Regular price of each toothbrush is $4.

The Binchotan charcoal infused bristles on these electric toothbrush heads fit any Sonicare brand electric toothbrush.

Molr offers two types of floss - Smooth Glide and Woven. Smooth Glide is waxed, non tearing and designed for tighter fits. Woven floss is made from woven strands of cotton. It is designed to grab more plaque from the surface of your teeth for a deeper clean. Each pack retails for $4.50.

Molr exclusively stocks Marvis toothpaste, an Italian brand that's minty and effective. There are seven flavours to choose from including Classic Strong Mint, Jasmine Mint, Aquatic Mint, Ginger Mint, Cinnamon Mint, Whitening Mint, and Amerelli Licorice. A little goes a long way, so one tube can last a couple months. One 3.8oz tube retails for $12.

So there is your complete look at Molr Dental Club. There is a subscription to fit every need and every budget. I think the Ultimate Package is the best value, and I love Marvis toothpaste so that's what I would go with. If you are just looking to replace your brush at regular intervals, the Base Camp package can't be beat! Just remember, although Molr ships from Canada, they do bill in US dollars.
