What is it? House Box
How Much? $21.95 bi-monthly, plus $9.95 shipping. Save on longer term subscriptions. Prices in Canadian dollars.
What’s in it? 5 or more items for your household

House Box is a Canadian subscription box that sends samples and full size products to help you make your house a home. Every other month, you will receive five or more items, including samples of household products, non-perishable consumables, atmosphere enhancers, and other unique items. Products may include coffee, tea, or spices, candles or essential oils, and cleaners, laundry detergents, and dish soaps. The idea is to discover new products for your family and home.

Every other month, Allison actively seeks out the latest and greatest in household products, from citrus peelers to laundry detergent strips. These safe, effective and natural products are sourced from small companies, many of which are Canadian owned and operated.
This is House Box #7, the Fall 2016 edition.

First look!

The product card details all the items. If you like what you receive, you can buy more from the House Box shop!

Herbal Healing Moisturizing Lemon Lip Balm ($6.59)
This lip balm is made from all natural ingredients and contains natural lemon flavouring. Herbal Healing is based in Calgary, and they have a large line of natural personal care products, as well as herbal teas.

Fox Run Brands Pumpkin Cookie Cutter ($3.50)
This 3" metal cookie cutter is perfect for fall themed cookies. With Thanksgiving and Halloween in October, there's lots of baking happening this month. Now I know what I will do with the fall leaves sprinkles from my October Hello! Bliss Box!

The Laundry Tarts Laundry Detergent (Sample)
This sample yields 2-8 loads (HE washers use less detergent). Laundry Tarts detergent is vegan and Eco-friendly. This detergent comes in dozens of yummy sounding scents. This seasonal pumpkin pie scent is perfect for October!

Manitoba Hemp Hearts ($1)
Hemp hearts are an easy way to add protein to any meal. I like to sprinkle them on yogurt and use them in smoothies.

This pack includes a few samples of Arbonne products. My cousin used to sell Arbonne, and I only know it as a skincare line. I'm curious to see what's inside!

Do the daily shake with delicious, nutritious perfectly balanced vanilla shake mix. Provides 20 grams of vegan protein, plus more than 20 essential vitamins and minerals per serving.

Stir in a fizz stick as a replacement for your morning coffee or afternoon slump. Create a refreshing bubbly drink to help temporarily promote alertness, enhance cognitive performance, relieve fatigue, promote endurance and enhance motor performance.

Arbonne Pure Vibrance Hair Serum
This serum is made with argan and grapeseed oil to tame flyaways, repair split ends, and add glossy shine.

This chew is a natural appetite suppressant. Use it to curb a sweet tooth or help get through an evening without snacking. At first glance, I thought this was a salt water taffy!

The October House Box contained 8 items valued over $20 Canadian. This box costs $21.95 every two months, plus $9.95 shipping, for a total of $31.90 Canadian. This is considered a discovery box rather than a value box, so you can expect to receive new and interesting products with each box, but the value will be pretty close to the cost paid. It's very cool how a few of the products are matched to the season. Lots of pumpkin!  I'm most excited to try the pumpkin pie laundry detergent and the Arbonne Fizz.
