New Canadian Subscription Box Find - Les Cocottes

What is it? Les Cocottes
How Much? TBA, ships every 2 months
What's in it? A gourmet care package with French delicacies

There is a new Canadian subscription box on the horizon.  Les Cocottes is based in Vancouver and founded by two French ex-pats. Their mission is to share their passion for French culinary and cultural heritage. No clichés here. Experience authentic French traditions and "art-de-vivre" with Les Cocottes.

The bi-monthly box is meant to please everyone, from the sweet tooth to the savoury fan. Les Cocottes includes fine specialties direct from France, which may include tapenade, pâté, nougats, teas, jams, spices, and more. The package may also include traditional recipes from chef's, as well exclusive tips.

Les Cocottes launches in January 2017. Currently they are taking e-mail sign ups on the website. The first 50 early birds will receive an offer for 10% off a yearly subscription. The price structure has yet to be released, but there is a way you can score this box early, at a great price.

Les Cocottes has launched a campaign on Kickstarter. For $50 CDN, you can score and early-bird VIP Christmas Box, shipping in December. The inaugural January 2017 box goes for a $60 CDN donation. Canada-wide shipping is included.

UPDATE - October 11th:
Les Cocottes sent out an e-mai to Kickstarter pledgers advising that the project will not be going forward on Kickstarter. The campaign required a minimum amount to be met before the campaign would be funded, and unfortunately,  four days from the deadline, they are only 20% funded. Those that pledged will not be charged. If you would still like a Les Cocottes box, be sure to e-mail them at the address listed below.
