Previews for August revealed we would be getting products from Lord of the Rings, The Simpsons, Masters of the Universe, and Ghostbusters.

The product card indicates we received five Nerd Block Exclusive items this month!

Here is a look at the back side of the product card.

Every Nerd Block Classic comes with a $10 credit for  T-shirts range from $10-$20, plus shipping.

Ghostbusters Art Print (Exclusive Item, ~$15)
This is an exclusive design by Norwegian artist Fredrik Eden. Prints of similar size go for $15 on his Esty site.

Back to the Future Time Circuit Luggage Tag (~$10)
My boyfriend and I travel a lot, and he's not big on travel accessories, but this is a luggage tag he can get behind. This is another exclusive item, designed by Wax Off Designs.

Bart Simpson's Manual of Mischief ($24.99)
I was a huge Simpsons fan as a kid. I had a Bart Simpson poster on my bedroom wall. Don't judge! It was 1993. Subscribers received different books - Lisa Simpson's Guide to Geek Chic, Homer Simpson's Little Book of Laziness, Grandma Simpson's Guide to Aging, and Montgomery Burns Handbook of World Domination. I'm very happy with the Bart book I received. It's so fun!

Lord of the Rings Eye of Sauron Snow Globe (~$15)
This is another Nerd Block Exclusive item. Similar mini globes go for $15-$20 online.

Here is a close up of the mini globe.

Super 7 Masters of the Universe MUSCLE Pack ($6)
This set is a Nerd Block Exclusive. The retail sets come with different combinations and they are pink, not grey. I used to watch She-Ra religiously, but she didn't come in this pack.
Shirt Punch Labyrinth T-Shirt ($20)
This is an exclusive t-shirt design for Nerd Block subscribers and it features David Bowie in Labyrinth.

The August Nerd Block Classic included six items, with an estimated value around $91 US. This box costs $28.74 US per month, including shipping to Canada. Nerd Block Classic is always a trip down memory lane. I love the nostalgic vibe of many of the products. Unboxing this one takes me right back to the late 80's and early 90's. I also like how they throw in items from current pop culture trends too. This is a good one to try if you are a child of the 80's!
