Canadian Box Addict paid for this box. This post contains referral links.
What is it? Market Mix
How Much? $39.95/month, plus $10 shipping. Prices in Canadian dollars.
What’s in it? 4-6 hand-picked, small batch, Canadian products that you might find at your local farmers' market.

Market Mix is a new Canadian subscription box, based in Calgary. Each month, Market Mix sends the farmers' market to your doorstep. With Market Mix, you will receive hand-picked, small batch, local good, without having to go to all the markets yourself. Boxes may include a variety of treats, from candles to soaps and relishes to lotions. All products will be Canadian made!
Market Mix aims to get wholesome, local products to Canadians in a simple and delightful way – with a package full of goodies delivered every month! Buying from local producers stimulates the home economy and supports our neighbours, so Market Mix makes it easy and affordable.
A couple weeks ago I reviewed the September "Country Harvest" box. I enjoyed it so much, I went back to the website and bought the "Canadian Summer", the inaugural box from Market Mix, sent out in July. There are still boxes available for one-time-purchase, and they are on sale for $30, plus shipping. Click here to order.

All the products in this box are meant to celebrate Canadian summers!

Lavami Summer Body Soap ($7)
This soap is an all-natural, light and refreshing blend of lavender, grapefruit, lemon & basil. It smells fantastic, and I don't typically like lavender. Lavami has some great products, including beer infused soaps, shave bars, and shampoo bars. The latter two are great for travel. Click here to see Lavami's product line. They are based in Calgary!
Tearrific Inc Strawberry Rhubarb Loose Leaf Tea (50g, $10.39)
This tea smells sooo good! It's a black tea blended with papaya and strawberry pieces, lime and blackberry leaves, jasmine, safflower, and sunflower petals. Strawberry and rhubarb is one of my favourite combinations so I can't wait to try this. Tearrific is based in Calgary.

Lamb's Soapworks Lemongrass Body Butter (4oz, $8.50)
This body butter is made from pure mango butter, coconut oil, unrefined shea butter, and cocoa butter. The lemongrass scent is very refreshing. Lamb's is based in Airdrie, Alberta.

Salt Cellar Canadian Bacon? Rub ($9.95)
This rub is a blend of maple syrup, sea salt, garlic, and spices. The smoky smell and taste make you think you're eating bacon! It can be used as a meat rub for barbecue, Caesar rim trim, or as a popcorn seasoning! I have to admit, I bought this box mostly because of this product. I plan to use it for my Caesar's.

Sugar Creek Gourmet S'Mores Popcorn ($7)
This popcorn is made in small batches right in Calgary. It's pretty well only available at farmers markets, so if you are outside of Calgary, this is a real treat. At the markets, bags are sold 3 for $20. S'mores is a great way to channel memories of Canadian summers, with camp fires at the lake.

The July Market Mix box included five products, valued around $43 Canadian. This is such a great box, full of small batch Canadian products. The Canadian Summer theme is fun and the product curation fits the theme perfectly. Originally this box sold for $39.95, with a monthly subscription, but it's currently on sale as a one-time-purchase box (no subscription) for $30, plus shipping.

Click here to order the Canadian Summer box, while supplies last.

Interested in a subscription? There is a very limited number of October spots remaining. The October box is themed "Bath Bliss". Once sold out, your first box will be in November. Use my link to save 10% off your first box.
