First  look

The product card is very detailed. Looks like we are getting five items this month!

Second look!

American Stockyard BBQ Rub Burger Seasoning Mix ($5.99)
Last time I received American Stockyard's Apple BBQ Rub and it was a huge hit in our house.  This burger seasoning is mixed right into the ground beef before grilling. It's a blend of onion, garlic, paprika, sesame seeds, and other spices.

Pork Barrel All American Spice Rub ($5.99)
This was the first product to catch G's eye. It's a combination of 14 herbs including ancho chili, chipotle chili, smoked paprika, cilantro, garlic, and cumin. The card says this rub can be used on just about everything from ribs and chicken to pork and pot roast. It was featured on Shark Tank!

Epicureal Butcher's Choice Artisan Spice Rub (~$5.99)
This is a ready to use blend of spices, salt, and sugar to bring out the flavour and juiciness of meats, fish, and shellfish.

Yoshi Togarashi Dry Chili with Sea Salt ($7.99)
This is very weird - I seriously just purchased this product not even 3 weeks ago from the Old Country Market in Coombs, BC (the place with the goats on the roof). This blend of chilis and spices is sprinkled over dishes as a finishing  spice. I bought it for this recipe.

Epicureal Worchestershire Powder (~$8.49)
For some reason this company has chosen to spell Worcestershire incorrectly (added an H making it "chester"). I can't stop looking at this oddity! Anyway, powdered Worcestershire is apparently a big deal. I had no idea. It can easily be  reconstituted into a liquid or sauce and used to add bold flavour to soups, stews, sauces, and gravies.

The August Grillers Monthly Box from Grillers' Paradise included five full size spice blends, valued at approximately $35 Canadian. I couldn't find all of these products for sale online, so I estimated some of the prices based on similar items. The value may be a little more, or it may be a little less, but generally you are getting what you paid for with this one (also take into account that shipping is free!). It's a great way to try out new spice blends that you may not come across on your own. My boyfriend and I have discovered a few great products through the Grillers Monthly Box (the previously mentioned Apple Rub and Sexy Salt, to name a couple). With Christmas a few month away, this would be a good one to check out for the hard-to-buy, grill loving man (or woman) in your life.
