What is it? FitBox Signature Box
How much? Starts at $54/quarter. Shipping included! Prices in Canadian dollars.
What's in it? The best natural products and healthy lifestyle items, shipped to your door every 3 months.

FitBox is a new Canadian subscription service, based in Edmonton, that sends a great selection of wellness products and healthy lifestyle content. FitBox is "well-being in a box". Products may include healthy snacks, wellness essentials, and awesome body products.

We are a brand that not only delivers a wellness subscription of natural products, but products that work together to help you achieve a higher level of well-being. Each box is themed to be seasonally relevant and encourage longevity and vitality for our amazing Tribe.

There are two boxes to choose from:
  • Signature FitBox ships across Canada
  • City FitBox is available in Edmonton & Calgary (and hopefully expanding to more cities soon) Includes the same awesome products as the Signature FitBox, plus some extra local items including fitness passes and therapy/spa treatments. Click here to see what was inside the July Edmonton and Calgary FitBox to get an idea what to expect.

This is a review for the Signature FitBox.

The first look was pretty good. The box was filled with full size products and there appeared to be a nice mix of items. The folded pink tissue was placed oddly among the products and served no purpose.

Mrs Crotchford Rugged Beard Balm and Lavender Face Butter ($18 & $16)
This is a local Edmonton company that makes "balms and oils for beards and bodies". I like that we received one product for men and one for women. FitBox is a unisex subscription so you can expect to see items that may appeal to both genders. (Prices via Mrs Crotchford Facebook)

Indigena Post Workout Bath Crystals ($7)
This soothing citrus infused soak soothes tired muscles and invigorates the skin. Indigena Skincare is based in Newfoundland!

Indigena Sea Veggie Bath Treatment ($7)
This sea salt and seaweed soak is good for hydrating, stimulating, clearing, and gentle exfoliation.

Clean Eats Lemon Ginger Energy Bit ($2.65)
Clean Eats is based in Quebec and they create healthy snacks. This Lemon Ginger bar is gluten free, vegan, Paleo approved, and lactose free.

Snappy Grains Organic Barley (~$10)
This is a brand new product that just launched this summer. Manufactured in Edmonton, Snappy Grains Organic Barley is a great source of protein and fibre. Their website has all sorts of recipes and barley can be used for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and in salads, soups, or sides. It's very versatile. (Price is estimated based on similar product and size.)

Manitoba Harvest Hemp Heart Bars (2 x $2.75)
These Apple Cinnamon flavoured bars contain 10 grams of plant based protein and are packed with heart healthy Omega-3 and Omega-6. Manitoba Harvest is another Canadian company!

SBT Soothing  Salve for Muscle & Joint Pain ($19.95)
This is a vegan and all natural salve. The formula of anti-inflammatory oils penetrates sore muscles and joints for immediate pain relief. The Seabuckthorn company is based in Penticton, BC.

SBT 3 in 1 Shampoo Bar ($13.95)
This vegan shampoo bar treats dandruff and itchy scalp. It cleanses hair without stripping oils and leaves no greasy residue. It can also be used for an all over body bar. This is a good one for travel.

Enerjive Quinoa Crisps in Chocolate (~$7)
Enerjive crackers are peanut free, gluten free, low sugar, no sodium, and a great source of fibre and iron. Enerjive is based in Ottawa. (Pricing based on similar product from same brand.)

Lowen's Natural Skincare Gentle Face & Body Cleanser (55g sample, $8.80)
This is an all natural, vegan cleanser made with hemp and coconut oil. Lowen's is based in Calgary!

Golf Card Canada (Retail $49.95)
This card will get you discounted green fees at over 500 golf courses across Canada. The card is good until the end of the year (only 4.5 months left!).

Panago One Free Salad Coupon (Up to $10 value)
This is a great addition. I was worried at first that the coupon wouldn't be usable outside of Alberta, but I logged into my online Panago account and tried the code out, and it works! Recipe salads range from $5 to $7.75. Custom made salads go up to $10, including protein of your choice. I might order a pizza and salad for dinner tonight!

The July FitBox included 14 items, with a retail value around $176 CDN. The website says each box offers over $250 in value, and I have no idea where they got that figure from. While the value isn't near $250, it's still significant for a $44 box. I was pleasantly surprised with FitBox. For some reason I was expecting a box of fitness supplements, and I'm happy to say, FitBox is not that. I received a mix of healthy snacks and food, and natural beauty and body products. To keep the "fit" theme, the golf card was a nice addition. The best part of FitBox is that every single product is sourced from Canadian companies!
