Each month you will receive items that enrich mind, body, and soul. Items may include healthy food, supplements, beauty products, and yoga accessories. A monthly BuddhiBox will include 4-6 products for you to discover and share. Even if you don't practice yoga, BuddhiBox is for people who enjoy a peaceful and mindful existence. BuddhiBox practices Saucha (living purely) and only partners with businesses that follow ethical and conscious standards in production. They also donate a portion of proceeds to charity.

Before I continue, I need to make a note about July shipping. BuddhiBox has always used DHL, which transfers to Canada Post at the border. Recently DHL changed the way they handle international packages and started assessing fees. This also happened to Canadian Glossybox subscribers in June (click here for a reminder). When I picked up this box from the post office, there was a $11.11 COD charge owing to DHL. The note said "your parcel has incurred duties and tax that we have paid to Canada Customs on your behalf". The breakdown of charges showed $0 duties, $1.11 tax, and a $10 service fee payable to DHL. I can almost guarantee Canada Customs would not bother with collecting $1.11 in tax had this parcel shipped via USPS. This change by DHL reeks of a cash grab and nothing more. Thankfully, BuddhiBox has already made changes and from now on will be sending Canadian boxes via the US Postal Service.

My BuddhiBox shipped late in July, going out on the 27th. I arrived to my door on August 16th. That's quite a journey!

The recipe this month is for "Summer Pitaya Bowl" and the pose is Warrior II (virabhadrasana). I can do this one!

Product card!

Cuccio Somatology Power Flow Yoga DVD ($19.95)
This is a 50 minute yoga session led by Danielle Cuccio.

Cuccio Somatology Yoga Essentials Kit ($12.95)
This kit is perfect for your gym bag.

The kit contains mini versions of Mat Sani Spray, Balancing Lotion, and Balancing Oil.

These mala bracelets are a collaboration between The Kind Market and BuddhiBox. Products from The Kind Market are always handmade, responsibly sourced, and ethically created.

These small terry towels are meant for on-the-go so you don't have to use paper towels to dry your hands while out and about. We actually received a set back in the October  2015 Buddhibox, and I keep them at work. I think this set will go in my purse.

YUNI Beauty Shower Sheets ($12)
These large, plant based, biodegradable wipes are great for on-the-go cleansing and refreshing. I love wipes!

The July BuddhiBox included five items, valued at $82 US. The product card shows an additional item, "Tranzend All Natural Detox Stix Supplement", but it wasn't in my box. I checked a few other online box reviews and it looks like no one received this product, so I'm thinking it was an error on the product card. The value is great without the 6th product, so I'm not concerned. This box costs just under $44 US for Canadians, with shipping. The value is nearly double the cost paid. I have to say, this is one of my most favourite boxes yet. I like getting products that can be used for travel, work, and on-the-go.
