Boxycharm Review - July 2016 - Beauty Subscription Box

Canadian Box Addict pays for this subscription. This post contains referral links.

What is it? Boxycharm
How Much? $21 per month, plus $5 shipping to Canada. Save on longer terms. All prices in US dollars.
What’s in it? 4 to 5 full-sized beauty products from well-known, popular, chic, and up-and-coming brands

Boxycharm is a US based beauty subscription box that recently started shipping to Canada. June was the first box for Canadians. You can see my review here. Each month you will get 4-5 full-sized beauty products from well-known, popular, chic, and up-and-coming brands. The retail value of each box will be over $100 US. By subscribing, you can also enjoy exclusive members-only offers, win free products through BOXY-Giveaways, and receive rewards for being a Charmer!

The box is smaller than I expected. More like a Beauty Box 5 box than a Glossybox. The plus side of the small size is that it fits in a condo sized mailbox!

July Product Card

PYT Hair Argan Oil (30ml, $30)
The Argan Oil treatment penetrates the hair follicle leaving it nourished, healthy and frizz free. Safe for color treated hair.
I like using oil treatments on my ends. You only use a dime to quarter sized amount at a time, so this bottle should last a while.

Noyah Lip Gloss in Malbec ($16)
This wine-inspired berry hue is a must have shade for all.
I've received Noyah lip balm before but I had no idea they also sell gloss and lip stick. The gloss is made without sulfates, parabens, or phtalates, and the tube cap is made from earth-friendly bamboo. It's a nice colour too!

Mally Beauty Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Eyeliner in Ice Blue ($18)
Waterproof and able to deliver a crisp line above, below, or inside the lashline for a perfectly defined eye that lasts until you take it off.
This colour is not for me, but I have a friend that loves blue eyeliner so I will pass it on to her.

Ofra Professional Magnetic Palette ($59)
This palette was made exclusively for Boxycharm. There is a mix of shimmer and matte shadows in great neutral colours. The shadow refills typically retail for $10-12 each. I've wanted a magnetic palette for a while, so this is great!

Mine arrived somewhat messy and damaged. I ended up tossing the brown pan and once I wiped the palette clean, it was (nearly) good as new.

The July Boxycharm included four products, valued at $123 US. This box costs $26 US, including shipping to Canada. As with last month, the value is fantastic and all the products are full size! We received three cosmetic items and one hair care item. I love the Ofra Pro Palette and the lip gloss is gorgeous.
