What is it? Bespoke Post Box of Awesome
How Much? $45 per month + tax, plus $10 shipping to Canada (US dollars)
What's in it? Fresh & interesting lifestyle brands for men built around a central, unique theme

Bespoke Post is a lifestyle subscription box for men. Each month, Bespoke Post sends a new "Box of Awesome" - a box filled with a limited edition collection of products built around a specific theme. To complement the box, Bespoke posts how-to-videos, tips & tricks, and interviews with the makers. Their goal is to introduce men to something new. Many of the boxes could appeal to women as well, which is why I subscribe. You can also skip as many months as you wish, so I've been subscribed for a couple years, but only get the box a few times a year.

Over the years, Bespoke Post has worked to lower the Canadian shipping charge. Originally I was paying $20 a box for shipping to BC. Last year they managed to get the cost down to $10 per box (or for shop orders $45 and up) Canada wide. They also cover the brokerage fees and duties, so there are no additional fees due upon delivery.

There were some great selections for July, and I had a hard time deciding.
In the end, I chose Island. The pineapple tumblers sold me. If you recall my June Luxily Boutique Box review, I received one pineapple tumbler and loved it so much, I wanted another. With Island, I would get another tumbler for myself and have an extra to gift. The tumblers alone retail for $35 US, so this box was a mega deal!

Bring the palm trees and sea breeze to your home bar with Island! The enclosed card talks about the tropical drink trend and gives some great tips and recipes.

Liber & Co Tropical Passion Fruit Syrup ($10)
Passion Fruit Syrup is the key ingredient in your new favorite cocktail.
Yellow passion fruit from Peru is pressed and blended with pure cane sugar in this essential tiki syrup. The natural punch of tart passion fruit shines through, and we add a touch of gum arabic for body and viscosity. Our Tropical Passion Fruit Syrup is a natural complement to rum, but it's also highly versatile with other spirits. Try it in a boozy Hurricane or the gin-based Saturn.
One bottle of syrup will make around 11 cocktails. This syrup is sweet and tart and works great with rum and a splash of ginger ale or soda.

Custom Bespoke Post Coasters
We need somewhere to rest our drinks between sips, and these custom cardboard coasters are just the thing.

The Pineapple Co. Pineapple Tumbler ($35 x 2)
This is why I ordered this box. I adore these Pineapple Tumblers. They are made from food-safe, brass-plated, PVD coasted aluminum. Bespoke Post says these tumblers will "frost beautifully when you pour in a chilly drink.

These tumblers are designed to channel a mid century spirit. The pineapple is a symbol of hospitality so what better way to welcome guests than with a golden pineapple filled with booze!

The "Island" box from Bespoke Post included four items, valued at $80 US. This box cost me $60.40 US, including shipping. I'm thrilled with this box, because now I have two Pineapple Tumblers for myself (one from a previous box), and a new one to gift to a friend. This box cost me less than it would have to buy two tumblers from a retail store, plus I got the bonus syrup and coasters.
