*Please read through to the end of the post for some changes coming to Terra Bella Box in July.

Terra Bella Box is a different kind of beauty box. Each month, Terra Bella sends a collection of natural, handmade beauty products. Items are made by small businesses with love and are always cruelty-free. Products are always full size, and free of harsh chemicals.
Starting in July, Terra Bella Box is introducing  the Makeup Edit box. This box will contain only makeup items, all of which will be natural and cruelty-free. It will contain at least 3 items per month and will cost $29.95, plus $10.95 shipping to Canada.

This is a review for the regular Terra Bella Box.

The box says "think lucky, be lucky".

First look - not much to see, but something smells good!

One of the inserts in the box has a sneak peak for the upcoming June box. Each June box will include a full size bottle of Dermadeli's Invigorating Vitamin C Serum, valued at $28.99.

Once I dug through the crinkle papers, this is what I found:

Meraki Botanicals Rose Lemongrass Toning Mist ($20)
Refreshing rose lemongrass toning mist shrinks pores and revitalizes tired skin with WITCH HAZEL. this natural ingredient is soothing and healing to inflamed skin. antibacterial ROSE HYDROSOL clears skin irritations, hydrates skin, and improves skin tone. LEMONGRASS ESSENTIAL OIL is astringent and anti fungal, making it perfect for clearing up acne and brightening dull skin.
This is a fresh and lemony scented  spray that I found quite invigorating. I use rose water on my skin already so this product is taking that up a notch.

Orglamix Blacquer Shadow + Liner ($18)
A three-in-one creme eye primer, shadow, and liner that glides on with ease and stays in place until you say when.
The website says this works "like a MAC paint pot, but without all the yuck ingredients". It's mineral based and is vegan too.

Klen Shower Steamer in Happy ($3.99)
Aromatherapy for your shower! Make your shower a true spa experience using one of our steamers. Happy- Jasmine essential oil provides antidepressant, antiseptic & aphrodisiac benefits. jasmine stimulates healthy skin, helps congestion & aids in a calm night of sleep.
This is what made the entire box smell so lovey. I would love to try their citrus scented one, Happy.

Woolin & Co. Handcrafted Soap in Ylang Ylang & Geranium ($7)
This scent was especially created for Terra Bella Bo using the finest essential oils and triple butter blend. It is moisturizing and organic and made with love!
This soap is beautiful. All the soaps on the Woolin Etsy site are packaged in pretty papers and wrapped so nicely. I kind of want them all. The soaps are made with a triple butter blend of avocado, mango, and Shea butter.

Purelygreat Cream Deodorant in Lavender ($15)
A gentle and effective natural deodorant for women. This deodorant is a great natural choice for women who want to smell great and feel good about their health. It has a fresh lavender scent, created with essential oils.
Purelygreat is a Canadian company and all their products are made in Canada! For those interested in this product, it's available from Well.ca for $10.99 CDN!

Orglamix Eco Chic Bent Eyeliner Brush ($7.50)
Vegan + Cruelty-Free, Orglamix Eco Chic Bent Eyeliner Makeup Brush is a fine eyeliner brush with a genius, bent shaft for easy, precise application. This brush goes along with the Blacquer eyeliner pot. It's a unique design that's said to make liner application easier.

The May Terra Bella Box included six products, with a retail value of $71.50 US! This box costs $34.94, plus shipping for Canadians. With over $70 worth of products, it's a pretty good value. All the products natural and artisan made from small companies. I was really impressed with the quality of items and the selection included in the box.

Now... before you rush off to subscribe to Terra Bella, I have to fill you in on some changes coming in July. Not only are they implementing the Makeup Edit box, but they are also overhauling the regular Terra Bella Box. As of July, Terra Bella Box will cost $32.95 per month, plus $8.95 flat rate shipping. The subscription cost and the Canadian shipping cost are lower (when I first wrote my review, the shipping cost for BC was $15). The box will contain 3-4 full size items, rather than the current 5-6 items. This box will contain skincare, body care, hair, and bath items, but no makeup items. Subscribers will be able to switch between the Makeup Edit box or the regular box in their online account (meaning you can try one of them one month and switch to the other the next month). That's a pretty cool feature! Terra Bella is also looking at adding a men's box in the coming months!
