Assorted Premium Shortbread from Goodies Bake Shop

Desserts Plus Matcha Melting Moments from Desserts Plus and Blueberry Pastry Twists from Eiffel Tower Pastry Shop.

Oreo Brownie from Caked with Love Co.

Nutella Brownie from Caked with Love Co.

First up, the Nutella Brownie from Caked with Love. This was delicious. Great texture and consistency. It was chewy and crunchy in all the right places.

The Oreo Brownie, also from Caked with Love, was great. The texture and consistency was perfect. Not too moist and not too dry. The Oreos mixed in were a nice bonus.

This shortbread cookie from Goodies Bake Shop tasted of espresso and chocolate. It was very tasty!

A cluster of shortbread, almonds, and cranberries. It was ok, but too "shortbready" for me... if that's a thing.

This shortbread was half matcha and half plain (I think). I didn't enjoy it. The matcha flavour was strong and the shortbread dry.

The Blueberry Pastry Twist from Eiffel Tower Pastry Shop was pretty good. It was almost like a small portion of a studded. The crust was sweet and flaky. I would have liked more blueberry filling!

"Matcha Melting Moments" are more like little matcha flavoured shortbread cookies, dusted with powdered sugar. They were better than the other matcha shortbread in the box.

The May Bakers Krate included seven items for bake shops all over Winnipeg. One of the bakeries featured, Caked with Love, is brand new to Bakers Krate. I enjoyed the pastry twist, but the brownies were my favourite items this month.
