A small wooden fork is taped to the inside lid. It's not always needed, but it's a nice touch!

The included product card includes details on each item, as well as "best before" dates. A separate sheet listing the ingredients for each item is also included.

First look!

Cake-Ology Raspberry Imperial Cookies
A larger version of this cookie was included in the August box. It's two shortbread cookies sandwiched with raspberry jam, and topped with royal icing. These are one of my faves!

Cake-Ology Earl Grey Meringue
I love meringues and this one had great texture. It was soft and chewy on the inside, but I didn't catch the Earl Grey flavour. I actually thought it was vanilla!

Cookie Girl Salted Caramel Cookies
We first experienced Cookie Girl last month, and I proclaimed her chocolate chip cookie one of the best I've ever had. These salted caramel cookies did not disappoint. I shared one with a friend and she was equally enamored.

Goodies Bake Shop Chocolate Brownie Square
This is another item that was featured in the August box, and it's way better than I remember. It arrived in perfect condition and tasted rich and chocolatey. I loved the moist, cake-like texture.

Goodies Bake Shop Peanut Butter Oat Square (Oh Henry Slice)
This oat square has a layer of PB topped with a layer of chocolate. I enjoyed the PB and chocolate taste but oat squares aren't my favourite. My boyfriend preferred this one to the brownie. Incedentally, the squares are large enough to be cut in two so they can be shared. I find that a half portion is just the right amount.

The April Bakers Krate included seven items. My favourite this month was the Cookie Girl Salted Caramel cookies. I would be happy if Cookie Girl was included every month! This is one of my favouirte boxes to receive each month, because I get to share the treats with friends, although I could easily eat them all myself!
