First look

The Penny Dreadful Picture Show (2013)
Daffy undead gal Penny Dreadful, her smitten zombie buddy Ned, and lycanthrope Wolfboy relate three tales of terror in an old rundown movie theater: A young couple find themselves being stalked by a lethal jack-in-the-box in "Slash-in-the-Box;" mousy young lady Alice tries to figure out what exactly happened to her last night in "The Morning After;" and a group of friends encounter an eccentric backwoods family after their van breaks down in the middle of nowhere in "The Slaughter House."
It looks like Amazon used to have it available on their streaming service. Reviews are mixed. Those that love horror seem to enjoy it. Those looking for the Penny Dreadful Showtime series seem to hate it.

Ritual (Modus Anomali - 2012)Suffering from amnesia, a man awakens after being buried alive to begin a desperate search for his missing family.
This is an Indonesian film that seems to be more a thriller than a horror.

Curse of Chucky (2013)
After her mother's mysterious death, Nica begins to suspect that the talking, red-haired doll her visiting niece has been playing with may be the key to recent bloodshed and chaos.
Chucky will never die,  it seems. He keeps making movies! Overall the reviews are positive. It even scored 81% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

Altered (2006)
Fifteen years ago, a group of men's lives were forever changed by a strange occurrence. Now, the same group of men will spend a night together ... in terror.
This one is from the same director who did The Blair Witch Project. Reviews say the beginning is slow, but it picks up.

My February Horror Pack contained four DVDs. I wasn't able to find these titles for retail sale, but I'm pretty sure the value is at least equal to the cost of the subscription. Most older titles go for $5-15 and they could go for more if they are rare or indie. For Canadians, this pack costs $31.99 US per month, so it's about $8 per movie. You can save a bit with a longer term subscription. If horror movies are your thing, this is a great way to expand your collection and see some titles you may not have found otherwise.
