BuddhiBox Review - January 2016 - Eco-Lifestyle Subscription Box

This box was provided complimentary for review.

What is it? BuddhiBox
How Much? $32.95 per month, plus $10.99 shipping to Canada. Save on longer terms. All prices in US dollars.
What’s in it? Mix of 4-6 full-size products and product samples to enrich mind, body, and soul.

BuddhiBox is a subscription service for yoga lovers. The goal of BuddhiBox is to deliver "monthly mindfulness through a curated box of products that enhance your yoga practice and lifestyle". Each month you will receive items that enrich mind, body, and soul. Items may include healthy food, supplements, beauty products, and yoga accessories. A monthly BuddhiBox will include 4-6 products for you to discover and share. Even if you don't practice yoga, BuddhiBox is for people who enjoy a peaceful and mindful existence. BuddhiBox practices Saucha (living purely) and only partners with businesses that follow ethical and conscious standards in production. They also donate a portion of proceeds to charity.

Check out the new packaging! I like the change. Less packaging and more space for products!

The yoga pose of the month is Mountain Pose (Tadasana). I can actually do this one! For our recipe, we have Roasted Tomato Soup by The Wellness Gypsy.

Mandala Publishing Ganesh Journal ($18.95)
Every yogi needs a journal to take note of revelations and enlightened moments.
This lovely journal is made with fingerprint-resistant leatherette and filled with lined acid-free pages. There's a back pocket to hold mementos, a ribbon placeholder, and an elastic closure.

Levals Anahata Bracelet ($21)
Green Aventurine inspires creativity and courage. Lepidolite enhances self-love, patience and optimism. Rudraksha attracts harmony, health and prosperity. An antique gold tree of life charm adds a vintage touch.
I can't find a website for this company so I have no way to verify the value. It seems high. My bracelet is also missing the tree of life charm, as are all the ones I've seen in other review posts. I wonder if that was a mistake on the product card.

Hemp Nation Kiwi Mango Body Wash (2oz, $5)
Indulge your skin with the exotic fruit extracts in Hemp Nation Kiwi-Mango Daily Body Wash. Exotic Kiwi and Mango combine to provide high levels of nourishing antioxidants to help brighten, soften and protect that gorgeous glow. Pure Hemp Seed Oil replenishes thirsty skin with essential fatty and amino acids for silky, smooth, touchable skin. Use daily to secure your passport to the world of Hemp Nation! Comes with loufa. THC-Drug and Paraben-Free.This is from an Australian company that sells wholesale tanning products. It smells nice and will be handy for travel.

Co Pur Lavender Lime Body Balm ($15)
Great for outdoor yoga lovers exposed to wind and sun, this luxurious balm softens dry, cracked feet and elbows. Made with pure essential oils, its lovely lavender-lime scent will also energize your practice. Simply rub over skin for a layer of rich, soothing moisture. Ingredients include: coconut oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter and essential oil.
I love lotion sticks! They are so easy to use and are great for travel and rushed mornings. Lavender Lime is a strange combo but it's growing on me.

Herbal ZAP! Digestive & Immune Support Sample ($1)
Powerful IMMUNE SUPPORT in a zesty and delicious instantly dissolving Ayurvedic beverage.

North Detail Everyday Tote ($14)
This is a tote with personality! We love its fun and inspiring messages.
It's a basic tote with a cute message. We also received a discount code for 20% off a purchase at North Detail. They make fun gifts, decor, stationery, and desk accessories.

Here is a closeup of the message on the tote.

The January BuddhiBox included six items with a retail value around $75 US. This box costs $41 US for Canadians. The value is great this month and I like the products included. The notebook is fantastic. I can never have enough notebooks. I also love the Co Pur Body Balm, mostly because it's in the form of a stick! It's another great month from BuddhiBox.
