This is a review for the Raptor box.

The theme for January is "Go Catch a Snowflake". Student Velocity estimates that students spends an average of 17 hour studying. That's a lot of time stuck indoors, so this box is meant to get you outside for a break. There's no snowflakes in Vancouver, but it sure is cold!

First Look!

Snowflake Gloves (~$15)
There are no tags on these gloves, so I don't know the brand or actual value, but they are great. They are a nice thick knit, lined with fleece, and they fit perfectly!

Nectar Sunglasses "Breck" ($30)
These sunglasses are "Wayfarer" style and feature polarized lenses, 100% UV protection, a lightweight frame, impact resistant polycarbonate lenses, glare reduction, scratch resistant film over lenses, and impact resistant frame material. They're great for snow sports because they reduce blinding glare from the freshly fallen snow!

Feast+ Nutty Cranberry Bar x 2 ($5.99)
Feast Plus is a Canadian company! These bars are all natural and gluten free.

East Shore Specialty Foods Cajun Pretzels (2oz, $1.50)
These are small pretzel twists seasoned with Cajun spices.

Wild Friends Nut Butters (2 x 32g, $4)
These single serve packets are in Chocolate Almond Butter and Vanilla Espresso Almond Butter. Nut butters are high in protein for extra energy. I love dipping funky nut butters like in with apple slices  or swirling it into ice cream.

Jelly Belly Jelly Beans Star Wars Galaxy Mix (28g, $1.25)
This is a little fun bonus. I have yet to see the new Star Wars flick. I feel like I'm the last one!

EcoJot Canada Notepad ($7.95)
A note pad is included for when you need to get back to your studying. I like the Canada theme and I am a big list maker so notepads are welcome in my house.

The January Student Velocity included seven products, with a retail valued over $65. It's a fun theme this month. I love that they're encouraging hardworking students to get outside and have some fun! The gloves and sunglasses are great for winter and all the snacks are perfect to keep students energized through long study sessions. I'm really enjoying my Student Velocity boxes. I wear the alpaca socks from the December box regularly and I take JOCO cup from the November box to work every day.
