The January box is about starting the year off right.
Start 2016 off right with these ultra versatile, personalized beauty products that you can build your new year around.
Natural conditioners—including black currant, soy yogurt, algae, and yerba mate—combine to restore hydration to dry hair, while the unique UV/Color Polar Shield protects dyed or sun-exposed locks.
This is a leave in conditioner spray which hydrates, and also acts as a UV shield and detangler. I've received a lot of leave-in conditioners lately.
Richly nourishing candlenut oil sinks deep into skin to banish roughness and leave skin soft and supple. As if that weren’t enough, it’s backed by nourishing illipe butter, rice bran oil, and avocado oil.
Up until December I'd never heard of Candlenut and now I've received it twice in as many months! You may recall that I received full size of this cream in the Winter FabFitFun box. It's a great cream and I really like the Juara brand. I was happy to see that Birchbox Canada carries over a dozen Juara products, including the coffee scrub I'm interested in trying. Unfortunately, for a body cream, this sample is tiny! I will throw it in my purse and use it as a hand cream instead.
BioRepublic SkinCare Soothing Fiber Mask in Cucumber Breeze (1 mask, $7)
These soothing sheet masks bring the spa to us via natural cucumber extract, plumping plant collagen, and healing vitamin E. The powerful antioxidants and cooling powers of cucumber tighten pores, reduce the appearance of lines, and calm our stressed-out complexions, leaving us with smooth, happy skin.
This was my sample choice for January. Sheet masks are quick and easy to use so I'm a fan.
TONYMOLY Delight Tony Tint in Red (sample)
This lightweight, super pigmented formula goes on your lips with a fruity smelling sheen, and dries quickly for a sheer, matte finish that won’t budge all day. It’s easy to create deeper color by adding layers of this non-drip formula, which moisturizes lips with rosehip and aragan oils.
TONYMOLY is a Korean brand and it's great to see Birchbox Canada carrying products from the TONYMOLY line, especially since they are so affordable. A full size of this Tony Tint is only $6. I'm not a red lip person, so this isn't for me.
derma e Hydrating Scrub (1oz,$5.08)
This dermatologist-approved exfoliator does double-duty, gently sloughing away dead skin, dirt, and excess oils with walnut shell powder while moisturizing and reviving the complexion with vitamin A and hyaluronic acid.
This is a great gentle scrub. The sample is enough for 2-3 uses and I've already bought a full size!
