Tea Sparrow Review - December 2015 - Canadian Tea Subscription Box + PROMO

This box was provided complimentary for review.

What is it? Tea Sparrow
How Much? $20 per month, shipping included. Prices in Canadian dollars.
What’s in it? 4 premium loose leaf teas to make 35-40 cups of tea

Tea Sparrow is a Canadian tea subscription service, based in Vancouver. Tea Sparrow curates their boxes by hosting bi-weekly tea parties where local Vancouver members taste and score teas from around the world. Each month, members receive the 4 highest rated loose-leaf teas: one each of black, green/oolong, rooibos and herbal. All of their teas are free of artificial ingredients.

For December, Tea Sparrow put together a special holiday box with four delicious seasonally inspired teas. If you order before December 17th, you will receive this box. If ordering as a gift, order before the 11th to get it in time for Christmas (although there is no guarantee so the earlier the better).
"Happy holidays! We've built the perfect box for you to enjoy while listening to your favourite holiday tunes on repeat in your slippers and pyjamas."
The Tea Guy - Cream of Earl Grey
This one won 2nd place in a recent Vancouver "Tea-Off" competition. The description says "buttery cream & bourbon vanilla float under a satin sheet of citrus bergamot, while the rich estate black tea covers all like a fleece blanket". Wow! If that doesn't scream winter night by the fire, I don't know what does. Tea Sparrow suggests to try it with a splash of Eggnog! I just may do that.

Tiesta Tea - Nutty Almond Cream
This one is described as almond and cinnamon apple crisp in a cup. Yes, please!

Tisano - Vanilla Cacao Rooibos
Described as spiced hot chocolate without the calories, this one is my favourite. I like it with a splash of milk or cream.

The Tea Spot - White Wedding Tea
The white tea of the month inspires a winter wonderland feel with the taste of caramel and roasted chestnuts.

The December holiday box from Tea Sparrow includes four packets of loose leaf tea. The varieties are great and all very indulgent for the holidays. Vanilla Cacao Rooibos is my favourite. I will probably buy more when the packet is gone! This would make a great gift for tea lovers. Remember, if ordering as a gift, make sure to order soon to ensure it arrives in time for Christmas. If ordering for yourself, order before December 17th to get this box, otherwise you will get the January box first.

As a special holiday bonus, Tea Sparrow is offering some great discounts. Use this link to get the holiday pricing built in. No promo code is required. Made sure the page title says "Pricing (Christmas)" to ensure you get the discounted rates.
