MunchPak is a subscription box that sends new and popular snacks and candies from around the world. Every box is different so it is always a fun mystery to see what’s inside. MunchPak also has an online shop so you can purchase more of your favourites.

There are three subscription plans to chose from:
  • MunchPak Mini: 5+ full size snacks for $9.95 per box, plus $5 shipping
  • Original MunchPak: 10+ full size snacks for $19.95 per box, plus $10 shipping

Customization are an additional $1 per option, so I'm not sure that it's worth it, unless you are vegetarian or have a nut allergy. You can also add a beverage to your Pak for an additional $5 per box. The beverage is an extra item and does not count towards your snack total.

Customization options: Add or remove any of the below selections, for an additional $1 each.

This is a review of the Original MunchPak.

Thanks Jay!
First look
Kapamen Caramel Candy ($2)
Deliciously chewy caramel candy! Country: BulgariaThese are tasty and I'm very glad I didn't find these while in Bulgaria, otherwise I would have packed my bag full of them.

Jelly Amrood ($1)
Yummy and chewy candies with a sweet guava-like flavor. Country: PakistanBased on the picture, I though these were pears. Turns out they are guava. They had a very floral flavour.

Zapp's New Orleans Cajun Dill Gator-Tators Potato Chips ($3)
Deliciously mysterious New Orleans Kettle Cajun Dill Gator-Tators Kettle Style Potato Chips have an amazing crunch, wholesome kettle style flavor with a slightly tangy, but not overwhelming taste.
Country: United States
I didn't enjoy these. BBQ mixed with dill is not so good. I also don't like kettle chips. I find them... too crunchy, if that's possible.

Tomato Crackers ($3)
Wholesome and delicious crackers that taste just like Spaghetti O's. Country:Thailand
I'm kind of afraid to try these. Crackers that taste like Spaghetti O's? Um. No.

Eurocrem Wafer ($2)
Eurocream Wafer is a chocolate wafer that is filled Neapolitan like with eurocrem hazelnut filling.
This was delicious. Chocolate and hazelnut. No actual wafer.

Pionir Galeb Choco Banana ($1)
This deliciously rich milk chocolate covered banana candy bar is absolutely amazing.
Country: Serbia
I don't like synthetic banana flavour so I gave this to a friend. She enjoyed it.

Kinder Country Bar ($2)
Kinder Country Reward yourself with our rich, slow-melting chocolate, crafted from the highest quality ingredients. Savor a moment that will carry you through your day. Country: PolandKinder products are always a hit.

Abadi Mini Bagel Snack ($2)
These crunchy little wheat snacks are shaped like bagels but have a wholesome sesame seed flavor and amazing barbecue flavor. They are crunchy and delightful and make for a perfect snack to share with your friends. Country: IsraelThese are a tasty snack and would be great in a nuts and bolts type mix.

Pocky in Matcha Green Tea ($2)
Scrumptious crunchy and wholesome cookie biscuit sticks are covered in rich and delicious Match flavored green tea cream. Country: JapanThese were strange. They actually tasted like matcha, which was both good and bad.

Sabritas Cacahuates Peanuts Caliente Hot Flavor ($1)
Perfectly roasted and lightly salted peanuts are covered in delicious Sabritas caliente hot seasoning. Country: United States
Salted tasty peanuts are always a great snack.

Garlic Green Peas ($1)
Beans Family Garlic Green Peas Snack is a delicious and garlic flavored snack with a crunchy texture. Country: JapanI wasn't a fan of these. They're a variation on wasabi peas.

My November MunchPak contained eleven items, valued at $20. The value is equivalent to the cost paid, minus shipping. This box is more about curation that value though. There is no way one would be able to find the majority of these products without a box like this. It's always a fun adventure to try new and interesting food products from other countries!

  1. omg...eurokrem..you can find it in any Serbian store ( quite a few in Toronto), but its even better in a container as a spread. Think Nutella, except in 2 flavours, chocolate and white vanilla/hazelnut...yum
