What is it? BuddhiBox
How Much? $30.95 per month, plus $9.99 shipping to Canada. All prices in US dollars.
What’s in it? Mix of 4-6 full-size products and product samples to enrich mind, body, and soul.

BuddhiBox is a subscription service for yoga lovers. The goal of BuddhiBox is to deliver "monthly mindfulness through a curated box of products that enhance your yoga practice and lifestyle". Each month you will receive items that enrich mind, body, and soul. Items may include healthy food, supplements, beauty products, and yoga accessories. A monthly BuddhiBox will include 4-6 products for you to discover and share. Even if you don't practice yoga, BuddhiBox is for people who enjoy a peaceful and mindful existence. BuddhiBox practices Saucha (living purely) and only partners with businesses that follow ethical and conscious standards in production. They also donate a portion of proceeds to charity.

If $41 US per month is too much for you, BuddhiBox also offers a mini version. For only $11.95 per month, plus shipping, you can get 2-3 product samples and coupons. This review is for a regular box.

This month we received a recipe for Benihana's Fried Rice with Tofu. I will have to give this one a go. It sounds great. The yoga pose this month is Heart Chakra Pose.

First look

In Light + Love Candles - Intention Candle ($12)
This candle smells great. It's a blend of vanilla, coconut, magnolia blossom, and lavender.

Optimal Health Blend Thieves Blend (2oz, $10)
This is a blend of cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, rosemary, and lemon essential oils. The card says this blend kills 99.96% of airborne bacteria. It can be dabbed on feet, diffused in the home, used as a household cleaner, and more.

Jiva Clothing Sweat Wicking Headband ($10)
Headbands are always great to have on hand and this one has a cool design.

People Towels 2 Pack & Eco-Sack ($11)
People Towels are an on-the-go, sustainable alternative to paper towels in public facilities. The light-weight fabric is absorbent, yet dries quickly. They feel like terry cloth and can be washed and reused. What a great idea!

Energy Muse Chakra Healing Bag ($20)
I don't know anything about crystals and chakra's so I'm going to have to read up on it. There's more information on the company website.

Breast Ritual Creme (Free sample)
This is a moisturizing cream made with essential oils, green tea, vitamins, and Evening Primrose Oil. The idea is you form a "healthy breast ritual" by using this cream and massaging it into your breasts while you perform a self-exam.

The October BuddhiBox included seven items with a retail value of $63 US. The box contains several useful and interesting products. The candle is great and I love the concept behind the People Towels and the Breast Ritual Creme.

  2. I loved this box, unfortunately with the Cdn dollar so low, it ends up not being a great deal in the end.
