Skone Cosmetics Luxe Double Eye/Lip Pencil in Wine ($12)
This smooth, creamy pencil is an eyeliner that doubles as a lip pencil. It's multi-purpose design allows you to create a pop of color to line the eyes, fill in the lids, or add color to your wings. Or use it as a lip pencil to easily shape, line or fill in the lip.
This is a dual purpose product, but I don't have a need for it as an eyeliner or a lip liner.

Pencil Me In Cosmetics Natural Eyeliner Pencil in Boysenberry ($6.99)
The natural formula is infused with vitamins and anti-oxidants so the skin is actually receiving a benefit. There are 30 fun colors to choose from; plus each pencil comes with a built-in sharpener in the cap.
I like the colour, but I don't use coloured eyeliner.

With these high-pigment lip glosses you can wear them alone or layer them over your favorite lipstick to create intense new colors. They will give you the perfect sultry lip with just the right amount of shine!
I love the colour of this gloss!

These bristles have been precisely shaped to create the perfect eye look. Whether you’re going for subtle or loud – this secret weapon of a brush will execute the perfect look when paired with MARSK Mineral Eyeshadows! What a combination.
This is a nice brush, but I am overloaded with eye shadow brushes.

Marc Anthony Nourishing Argan Oil of Morocco Oil Treatment (20ml, ~$2)
Created with Mediterranean Olive Oil and Moroccan Argan Oil – the ancestral beauty secret of Morocco – it deeply penetrates to fortify, protect and condition hair. Vitamin E and Shea Butter hydrate and soften.
This oil smells fantastic!

The August Ipsy bag included five products with a retail value of $60. This box cost me $19.98 CDN with exchange. Four of the five products are full size, so it's a great month for value. I'm not thrilled with the products though. Three of the products aren't for me and two pencils in one bag seems overkill. I love the oil treatment and the Hikari gloss so it's not a total bust. With the crappy Canadian dollar, this subscription is slowly creeping closer and closer to the $20 mark. Keep that in mind if you plan to subscribe.

  1. with the canadian dollar i can't really justify any US subscriptions anymore. i'd also be a bit annoyed to basically get two eyeliners but it is a pretty nice box in terms of value and full size useable products.

  2. It's a pretty good bag this month.
