Bowzer Box is a recurring Canadian subscription service that delivers a box of doggy goodies every month. Bowzer Box caters to all dogs - small, medium, or large. Subscriptions start at $29 per month. You can save by pre-paying for a 3 or 6 month subscription. Shipping is an additional $4.50 per box. Bowzer Box includes a variety of handpicked items including toys, treats, samples, and coupons from various brands. Every box is unique and each one will highlight a Canadian product. Bowzer Box also donates a portion of proceeds to animal related charities.

The theme for June is "Bow Wow" Q, a doggy version of summer BBQ. The box contains some of their favourite grilled treats, a toy made for the park, and a bandana to "keep the BBQ sauce from hitting the floor".

 First look!
Product Card - We want to get "all up in your grill"!

Chomper Jr. Gladiator Fetch Stick ($11)
This squeak toy is built for "tuff-ness" and is great for small dogs.
Merrick Tripe Steak Patties ($7.50)
These patties are made with beef tripe and beef liver. The patties can be used as a snack or a treat, and served whole or broken up.

Merrick Cowboy Cookout Gourmet Sausage Treat (35g x 4, $2 each = $8)
These treats are made with beef, oats, and potatoes (along with various other ingredients & fillers).

Red Gingham Bandana (~$1)
The perfect pattern for a country cookout!

Quality House Brand Beef Ribs ($2)
This is an all-natural 100% Canadian beef rib. It's slow roasted to retain natural flavour and nutrition.

Amelia Biscuit Strawberry Shortcake Biscuits (2 cookies, $4.99)
Dessert is a must at a BBQ and strawberry shortcake is a seasonally appropriate dish!

The June Bowzer Box included six different products, with a retail value of $34.50. This box costs $33.50 per month, including shipping, so there isn't much value here. To get the most bang for your buck from Bowzer Box, look into the longer term subscriptions, which can bring the per-box cost down to $23, plus $4.50 shipping. The true value in Bowzer Box is in the curation. Each month they send out a box full of unique products built around a fun theme. There is always something your dog is sure to love. I would have liked to see a full size bag of treats, or another toy or accessory this month though.

If you are interested in trying Bowzer Box, you can save 10% off your first month's box. Just enter promo code CDNBOX at checkout and 10% will be deducted from your total.
