Luxe Box is a leading Canadian subscription service that sends beauty and lifestyle products every season. Boxes ship four times per year, and include complimentary shipping.
At Luxe Box, our mission is to help consumers better discover, try and purchase quality beauty and lifestyle products through a unique experience.

In April I shared news that Luxe Box had merged with Topbox. The e-mail I received said Luxe Box would continue to run as a separate entity, "business as usual",  but one immediate change I noticed was shipping. Luxe Box used to be known for late mailings and missing tracking numbers. This season, with Topbox at the helm, my summer box shipped on time, complete with a Canada Post tracking e-mail. The super efficient shipping practices employed by Topbox have carried over to the Luxe Box operations. Win for us!

I have two Luxe Box subscriptions. Earlier this week I posted a review of my first box, also a regular edition. Click here to check it out. In that review, I mentioned that the Summer box crept up out of nowhere. There wasn't much promotion and then all of a sudden it was here. I didn't even realize there were upgrade options this season (there were 2) which is why I ended up with two regular edition boxes. Another thing I noticed about my first box is that many of the products were from recent Topbox mailings, which is a bit of a concern.

One last change for this season of Luxe Box is product cards. Normally our products are found in our online accounts under the Personal Product Dashboard. Mine is still showing my Spring box products. Instead we have a small product card. I don't know why the change, but I really miss the online product info.

Fruits & Passion Aloe Face Mask (1 mask, $2.50)
I received this mask in my other summer edition box. I've also noticed Fruits & Passion masks were included in the June Topbox.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Mineral Tinted Ultra-Fluid Lotion SPF 50 (3ml, $2)
I use tinted sunscreen often so this is a good one for me.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Original (50ml, $5.99)
I received this one in my other summer edition box too. I like dry shampoo and it's great for travel.

Elizabeth Arden Prevage Eye Serum (3ml, $31)
Wow is this ever an expensive product. $115 for 15ml! I've tried the regular EA Prevage serum, but never the eye serum.

Essie Nail Lacquer in Sand Tropez #668 (full size, $9.99)
This is described as a soft sandy beige. It's a nice neutral shade.

These are highly pigmented mineral pressed powder with micro sparkles. I first learned of Medusa's Makeup through Topbox. This shadow isn't my colour so it will be passed on.

bareMinerals Lash Domination Mascara (1.5ml sample, $2.70)
This one was also included in my other summer edition Luxe Box. I guess three duplicates between the boxes isn't bad. Could have been worse!

My first Summer Edition 2015 Luxe Box included seven products with a retail value just over $62 CDN. This box costs $26 per season, including shipping. I prefer this version of the box much more than the version I reviewed the other day. The value is more and the products are more interesting and varied. Thankfully there are no repeat products from previous Topbox mailings. I like the two high end skincare products the most!

If you are interested in trying Luxe Box, the next box, Fall 2015, ships September 1st. New subscribers can save $2 per box (up to $8 per year) using my link!
