BuddhiBox is a subscription service for yoga lovers. The goal of BuddhiBox is to deliver "monthly mindfulness through a curated box of products that enhance your yoga practice and lifestyle". Each month you will receive items that enrich mind, body, and soul. Items may include healthy food, supplements, beauty products, and yoga accessories. A monthly BuddhiBox will include 4-6 products for you to discover and share. Even if you don't practice yoga, BuddhiBox is for people who enjoy a peaceful and mindful existence. BuddhiBox practices Saucha (living purely) and only partners with businesses that follow ethical and conscious standards in production. They also donate a portion of proceeds to charity.

If $41 US per month is too much for you, BuddhiBox also offers a mini version. For only $11.95 per month, plus shipping, you can get 2-3 product samples and coupons. This review is for a regular box.

Monthly Quote

Each month BuddhiBox includes a yoga pose to help with your practice, and a healthy recipe. This month we are learning Bird of Paradise (Svarga Dvijasana) and eating Date & Almond Chocolates. The recipe includes just three ingredients and  takes 10 minutes.

First Look!

Poppy & Elle Headbands (3 Pack, $6)
I don't like ribbon hair ties, but ribbon headbands are another story. These thin headbands are great for working out and outdoor activities.

Lasting Smiles Peppermint Lip Balm ($5)
The product card said Passion Fruit Mango but I received Peppermint. The fruity one would have been nice but I love peppermint. This is a fair trade lip balm made with coconut oil and with every 1000 lip balms sold, Lasting Smiles donates so a child can receive a cleft lip or cleft palate surgery in the same countries where they source their ingredients (Peru, India, or Burkina Faso).

Below the Oak Solid Perfume in Feather ($20)
This has a really soft and subtle scent that I can't really make out, but I love it. The product description says it's "reminiscent of wind and clouds, and wings fluttering in the distance", which is another way of saying "Feather is light, slightly sweet, with notes of delicate floral buds". Whatever it is, I like it.

Frisky Fish FRESH Essential Oil Blend in Lemon & Lavender (0.35oz, $14)
This smells very refreshing, hence the name FRESH. The description says "Keep a bottle of FRESH in your purse or on your nightstand to clear your mind, make you smell good or uplift your spirits. Roll on pulse points when you wake up, and throughout the day for a renewed purpose and perspective".

Sweat Brands Saucha Spray in Lavender (2oz, $4)
This anti-funk spray can be used on any fabric to kill odours naturally. Spray on your mat, towel, or workout clothes to prevent the funky smell from setting in. A full size is 8oz for $16. Save 25% online at Sweat Towels using promo code YOGA.

Go Macro Macrobar in Banana & Almond Butter (25g Sample)
Considering this bar is wholesome, high protein, gluten-free, organic, vegan, and macrobiotic... it's actually quite delicious. It's kind of like a dense banana bread.

Sweat Brands Live Like A Warrior Hot Yoga Towel ($6)
This towel is soft and absorbent. It's made from 130 thread count premium cotton. The oversize hand towel is designed to be held on either end to assist with yoga poses, stretching, or to cradle your neck while performing sit ups. Save 25% online at Sweat Towels using promo code YOGA.

Not Pictured:
Self Care Oasis Yokibics AM Yoga Meditations Download ($10)
This is a 45 minuted guided meditation that can be downloaded or streamed. I've experienced a fair bit of work and home stress lately, so I might actually give meditation a try. Whatever helps, right?

The May BuddhiBox included seven items, with a retail value of $65 US. This box costs Canadians $41 US with shipping, so it's a great value. I really like the solid perfume and Frisky oil blend. The towel will come in handy for workouts. I enjoy BuddhiBox every month and love discovering new wellness products. This month is no different. It's another great assortment of unique and quality products to enhance your lifestyle and yoga practice.
