BuddhiBox Review - June 2015 - Eco-Lifestyle Subscription Box + PROMO CODES

This box was provided complimentary for review.

What is it? BuddhiBox
How Much? $30.95 per month, plus $9.99 shipping to Canada (US$)
What’s in it? Mix of 4-6 full-size products and product samples to enrich mind, body, and soul.

BuddhiBox is a subscription service for yoga lovers. The goal of BuddhiBox is to deliver "monthly mindfulness through a curated box of products that enhance your yoga practice and lifestyle". Each month you will receive items that enrich mind, body, and soul. Items may include healthy food, supplements, beauty products, and yoga accessories. A monthly BuddhiBox will include 4-6 products for you to discover and share. Even if you don't practice yoga, BuddhiBox is for people who enjoy a peaceful and mindful existence. BuddhiBox practices Saucha (living purely) and only partners with businesses that follow ethical and conscious standards in production. They also donate a portion of proceeds to charity.

If $41 US per month is too much for you, BuddhiBox also offers a mini version. For only $11.95 per month, plus shipping, you can get 2-3 product samples and coupons. This review is for a regular box.

Each month we are greeted by an inspirational quote...

... and we also get a new yoga pose to practice and a vegetarian recipe. For June we have Chinese Orange Cauliflower and the Cobra pose (Bhujangasana).

First look!

Vigilant Eats Superfood Cereal in Maca Double Chocolate & Coconut Maple Vanilla (2 x $4)
I used to get single serve breakfast bowls from the old Snackbox and I really enjoyed them. Great for on-the-go and work. These ones from Vigilant eats are gluten-free and low glycemic.

Real Beauty for a Cause Peppermint Toner Tab (1 tab, $2.50)
This is described as a facial toner tab, but it looks and smells like the Peppermint Shower Tabs from the website. It smells great and I plan to use it as a shower tab.

Real Beauty for a Cause Detox Face Mask (2oz, $14.99)
This mask is a powder of clay and charcoal powder. Mix equal parts warm water with powder and apply a thin layer to skin.

Indo-Love Jewelry Namaste Bracelet ($20)
This is a hand stamped thin aluminum cuff bracelet made custom for BuddihBox. It's a nice piece and well made.

Kalika Fortin Music Flowers for Kali Album Download ($10 value)
This album is definitely not my style, but someone may enjoy it. You can sample the songs at the link above. If you are interested in the full album download, comment below. I have one unique code to give away! Here is a description:
"The album, Flowers for Kali, reflects the spiritual journey of a small town midwestern girl who finds herself in an ashram in Colorado. Immersed in chanting and ritual, Kalika Fortin connected with and nurtured a flow of creative energy that descended upon her and blessed her with music. Ancient chants surfaced with fresh melodies. Lyrics arose from meditative movement. The intimate, tender songs celebrate devotion and spiritual connection. This peaceful, uplifting album features sacred mantras on sweet vocals delivered with a down home, back porch flavor."

Grokker Premium 30 Day Pass ($14.99 Value)
Grokker is a streaming site that offers on-demand yoga, meditation, fitness and healthy cooking videos from top experts. It's an interesting concept. Sign up and credit card are required to claim your free month.

Foursee Apparel Yoga Sugarskull Cotton Tote ($10)
This tote is smaller than I expected but it's super cute and it's calling out for some colouring. I might get some fabric markers and colour and personalize it a  bit.

The June BuddhiBox included six products, plus two digital content coupons. The value of the products is $55.50 US, or $80.50 including the digital content. This box costs $41 US for Canadians so it's a fair value. I'm happy with the products included this month. It's another well curated box full of great, well intentioned, and useful items.
