Ipsy is a San Francisco based beauty subscription that sends a beautiful Glam Bag filled with with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. The theme for May is Jet Setter.
Buckle up, buttercup. We'll bring the beauty essentials, and you bring the flair. Celeb status or not, we're flying first class to fabulous, and the sky's the limit. Jetlag is for amateurs.
The pouch this month is a special edition mini makeup clutch by Breakups to Makeup. There were three versions available. You can see them all here. A full-size Breakups to Makeup clutch goes for $35, but Ipsters can save 20% using code IPSY20 at checkout.

Luxie Beauty - Tapered Blending Eye Brush #205 ($12)
Coated with a revolutionary antibacterial solution for minimal brush cleansing, your brush remains fresh and clean for longer periods of time.
This is a nice brush, but I don't have a need for it.

Urban Decay - 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil + BONUS Revolution High-Color Lipgloss (0.8g, $13.35)
Get primed and ready for action. Urban Decay's long-lasting, waterproof liner glides on smoothly to prime AND define—for long-lasting lip color and clean lines. Smooch. Pout. Smack. Nibble. Lick. 24/7 stays put through everything (yes, EVERYTHING) you do.
I don't wear a lot of lip colour (other than neutrals) so this isn't for me.

BelláPierre Cosmetics - Waterproof Mineral Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Ebony (full size, $14)
This super creamy mineral gel eyeliner formula provides effortlessly smooth application and intense pigment for amazing coverage and all day wear. Plus it’s waterproof so you’ll definitely be smudge-free!
I've been wanting to try waterproof eyeliner because the one I currently use smudges pretty badly by the end of the day.

AMIE - Morning Dew Matte-Finish Moisturizer (10ml, $1.20)
Morning Dew is a really light daily moisturizer that’s totally mineral oil-free and parabens-free. Quickly and easily absorbed into the skin, it gives skin all the hydration it needs while controlling shine and leaving a smooth, matte finish that’s a perfect base for make-up or facing the day or night ‘au naturel’!
I use a matte moisturizer by Murad so I'm curious to try this one.

Briogeo - Rosarco Milk™ Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray (1oz, $3.92)
Multi-benefits: hydrates, reduces frizz, enhances manageability, strengthens hair, protects against UV rays & heat, and nourishes hair.
I'm very happy to have this. It's going into my weekend bag for when I'm away from my house without conditioner, as happened this past weekend. D'oh!

My May Ipsy bag included five items, two of them full size, with an approximate retail value just under $44.50 (US$). I paid $18.58 CDN for this bag this month (the exchange rate is getting better!). It's a great value and there is a good mix of products, with cosmetics, hair, and skincare. I love the bag the best though. It's super cute and I will definitely be using it!
