What is it? Bespoke Post Box of Awesome
How Much? $45 per month + tax, plus $10-20 shipping to Canada (US dollars)
What's in it? Fresh & interesting lifestyle brands for men built around a central, unique theme

Bespoke Post is a lifestyle subscription box for men. Each month, Bespoke Post sends a new "Box of Awesome" - a box filled with a limited edition collection of products built around a specific theme. To complement the box, Bespoke posts how-to-videos, tips & tricks, and interviews with the makers. Their goal is to introduce men to something new. Many of the boxes could appeal to women as well, which is why I subscribe!

There were a few boxes available for April. I selected "Charred", a barbecue themed box. The warm weather has been gracing the shores of Vancouver for a couple weeks now, so I'm declaring it officially BBQ season!

Grilling is more than just a way to cook your ribeye. It's a celebration of the season, a way to enjoy the great outdoors, and a great excuse to fill a cooler and invite some company over.
To do it right, you'll need the essentials that can handle your food and withstand the open flame — plus some hidden aces to make your dinner especially delicious.

First Look

Lamson & Goodnow Walnut Handled Open Flame Essentials (~$80)
This is a really great quality BBQ set. Each piece is made from a single piece of hardened, tempered steel and inlaid with a walnut handle. Lamson & Goodnow backs their products with a lifetime warranty too! an identical 4-piece set is available from Bespoke for $105. The 4-piece set includes a carving knife, valued at $25, so without the knife, I figure this 3-piece set is easily worth $80. I'm not sure if I'm going to keepit or gift it to my Dad for Father's Day.

Klassen Wood Co. Maple Wood Chips (~$5)
I've never barbecued with wood chips but it seems pretty easy. Just soak them in water, then wrap in foil and throw them on the grill along with meat of your choice. These maple chips are said to provide a light and sweet flavour to pork and beef. These maple chips come from Canada too!

Ohhhh.... Bespoke Post says this sauce is a knockout on wings, pulled pork, scallops, chicken, or anything else coming off the grill. I bet it would be amazing with prawns.

The April "Charred" box from Bespoke Post contained five items valued over $90. As with all Bespoke Post offerings, the quality of the products is exceptional. This box costs $45 US, plus shipping, so the value is fantastic. This would make a great box for anyone that enjoys grilling and the best part is that it's still available for purchase as a monthly mailing, or through the Bespoke Post shop. If you are interested in trying Bespoke Post, you can save 25% off your first box using promo code RESCUE at checkout. This code is valid for new subscribers only.
