Subscription Box Announcement

I received an interesting e-mail today from the Luxe Box marketing team. I'm not sure what to make of it yet, but I thought it was important to share.
As of April 15th, 2015 Luxe Box has merged its operations with Topbox. Going forward Topbox will run both Luxe Box and Topbox business and operations. Both services will continue to operate under established names, and Luxe Box will continue to maintain its unique brand identity.

The e-mail goes on to say that the Membership Director of Topbox will continue to run Luxe Box "business as usual". I hope of the sake of the Canadian subscription box market that things do continue with Luxe Box. I would hate to see them close Luxe Box down entirely. Maybe the folks at Topbox can bring their expertise to help improve the Luxe Box experience for all of us subscribers!

  1. I hope this merger doesn't lead to the eventual demise of another Canadian subscription box option. I also hope there will not be an increase in overlap of products between the two boxes.

  3. Interesting. I stopped subscribing to both b/c I wasn't happy with the selection of products sent … but I will be watching to see what happens next with this merger.
