This box was provided complimentary for review.
What is it? Little Life Box
How Much? $19.99 CDN per month plus $4.95 shipping. Tax extra. Save on 3 or 12 month subscriptions.
What’s in it? Up to a dozen organic, natural, health conscious samples.

Little Life Box is a Canadian subscription service that sends a box full of healthy and sustainable products for you to sample and discover. Products may include snacks, cosmetics, supplements, vitamins, and more. Items included in the box vary each month, and Little Life Box guarantees that you will never receive the exact same product sample twice. A vegan option is available for purchase as well.

I love how Little Life Box is always wrapped like a gift, with bright and colourful tissue. The tissue changes every month. I fold it up and save it and re-use it for gifts and parcel mailing. The card on top is a post card which changes every month to suit the season.

Little Life Box doesn't include a product card, since there are so many variations of the monthly box. Instead, subscribers can check out a list of products on-line. As well, some of the products are available for purchase through the Little Life Box product page.

Tutti Gourmet Bana Krisp in Almond & Cacao (80g, $4.99)

Bana Krisp is your taste revolution. They have created a nutrient-dense fruit cracker using bananas, organic coconut and organic sesame seeds. It is gluten free & vegan, has no added sugar or salt, no flour, eggs or dairy and is also soy and peanut free!
There is a local BC company that makes "Banana Bickies" that are similar to these, but they aren't gluten free. They taste like banana bread but have the crunch of a cracker.

Beanfields Bean & Rice Chips in Nacho (43g, $1.25)

Beanfields chips have 4g of fiber per serving, 4g of complete protein per serving, less fat than most corn chips and potato chips, complex carbohydrates, minerals, and none of the top eight food allergen ingredients.
This is great! They're almost like Doritos. I'm always looking for alternatives to corn based chips since my stomach doesn't digest corn well. Now if only they made a corn-free alternative for popcorn...

Mrs. Crimbles Large Choc Macaroons (2 x $0.67)
These traditional coconut macaroons drizzled with choc are Britain's best-selling macaroon and they taste so good we sell more than one every second. They make the perfect teatime treat and because they happen to be gluten-free they can be enjoyed by everyone including coeliacs.
Mrs. Crimbles is a UK brand, but I found the regular macaroons available from well.ca. These chocolate covered ones are delicious. Along with the chocolate drizzle on top, the bottom is coated in delicious chocolate too. The macaroons are soft, chewy, and taste fresh as though you made them yourself. Highly recommended!

Made Good Organic Granola Bar in Chocolate Chip (1 bar, $1)
Toasted rolled oats and delicious chocolate chips. These granola bars are chewy goodness and contain the nutrients in one full serving of vegetables.
I've tried the Made Good Granola minis before and they were not good. Hopefully this one is better.

A Vogel Herbamare Natural Salt Substitute (2 x 10g sample, $1.10)
An original and unique Swiss recipe of sodium-free herbal seasoning suitable for sodium restricted diets. Fresh organically grown plants are combined with kelp and potassium chloride. Use it, as you would salt during cooking, to enhance the flavour of all your foods.
I received a sample of Herbamare years ago at the Vancouver Wellness Show, and actually bought a full size of the original flavour after trying it out. These little sample sizes are perfect for work and travel. If you are interested in trying Herbamare, click here for a printable $1 off coupon.

MAX/Effects Naturals Eye & Face Makeup Remover (2 x 5ml samples, $0.50)
MAX/Effects naturals is made for you! Formulated for busy and active lifestyles, this teardrop tested makeup remover + toner removes your face and eye makeup in one quick step while balancing the skin’s pH. Cucumber Extract & Cornflower Water balance and brighten your skin so you can quickly transition your day to what really matters – you!
This makeup remover is paraben, oil, and alcohol free so it's safe for sensitive skin. It's a makeup remover plus toner in one. I wish it came in a jar instead of these packets, but I can pour the liquid into a travel size container.

Bare English & Co. Tea Infused Organic Lip Balm in Pomegranate Berry ($3.99)
Tea! It’s not just a beverage; it’s their claim to fame!  Bare English & Co. lip balms are made with the highest quality ingredients, and, to put the nutritional value of our product over the top, they infuse it with tea.  Tea is one of the oldest, most widely used forms of natural medicine on the planet.  It supports the immune system, fights free radical damage and promotes cell rejuvenation; not to mention, it smells amazing.
The pomegranate berry flavour does smell amazing. I love receiving lip balms, especially natural ones.

Abio Organic Bath Bomb in Eucalyptus (60g, $3.99)
Enjoy a fizzy, aromatic experience with Abio Eucalyptus Bath Bomb. Organic. Made in Canada. Made with Shea Butter to moisturise your skin. 2 in 1 aromatherapy and hydrating body treatment.
I love bath bombs, and this one with eucalyptus has decongestant properties, so I plan to save it for next time I have a cold. Abio is another brand available for purchase from well.ca.

Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pac (2 x 6g Trial Size, $1.20)
We’ve harvested ultra-deep cleansing Dead Sea Minerals to penetrate deep into pores drawing out impurities. Our Mud Pac is Nutrient rich with Seaweed & Kelp to help restore skins vitality leaving you cleansed to the core and totally relaxed.
I've tried Montagne Jeuness masks a few times now. I prefer sheet masks, but these minis might be good to use on a relaxing weekend afternoon.

A Vogel Beauty Essentials Daily Supplement (60 tablets, $29.99)
An excellent source of a variety of nutrients, this complex of Zinc, Millet, Stinging Nettle and Brewer’s Yeast provides the nutrients you need for lush hair, strong nails and radiant skin, as well as providing benefits for the maintenance of overall good health.
I already take a beauty supplement, but when my current batch is finished, I may switch to this product to give it a try.

Nightly herbal tea helps relieves sleep disorders.
Javaslim-t is an excellent infusion to drink when on a diet. It eases weight loss by helping your organism eliminate toxins and stop water retention.
Detox is the perfect herbal tea to cleanse your organism.
Easy Lax herbal tea produces a laxative action and cleans intestinal tract.
Virage Sante has a huge line of herbal teas for various ailments.  I'm interested in the Digestive tea as well.

My March Little Life Box included eleven different products, valued at approximately $51. It's a great month for value and content. I'm pretty happy with every sample and I'm already planning to buy a couple full size products (more Mrs. Crimbles and Virage Sante tea). I love that many of these products are from Canadian companies, and many of them are readily available from well.ca so it's easy to buy more when needed. This box has the perfect mix of snacks, supplements, and beauty products. I get quite a few e-mails from people asking for box recommendations. Whenever they say they are looking for a lifestyle box that includes a mix of products, or a box with natural and Eco-conscious products, I always recommend Little Life Box. It's Canadian, it's a good value, and it includes a wide array of products for healthy and wellness. I've discovered many great products through this service and every month is a new surprise. Since I started reviewing Little Life Box again in October 2014, I can honestly say I have never been disappointed.

    1. I've been really happy with LLB lately. The promo code here is good as it's for just a one month trial so you can test the box out with no commitment.

  2. I want to munch on those snacks!

  3. My box had only one of each item, no bath bomb, lip balm, banana crisps. My value was substantially lower than in the review. I figure around $37 so considering I paid 75.5 including tax and shipping for 3 months it's not all that exciting as I will end up giving away half of the items
