How Much? $30.95 per month, plus $9.99 shipping to Canada (US$)

BuddhiBox is a subscription service for yoga lovers. The goal of BuddhiBox is to deliver "monthly mindfulness through a curated box of products that enhance your yoga practice and lifestyle". Each month you will receive items that enrich mind, body, and soul. Items may include healthy food, supplements, beauty products, and yoga accessories. A monthly BuddhiBox will include 4-6 products for you to discover and share. Even if you don't practice yoga, BuddhiBox is for people who enjoy a peaceful and mindful existence. BuddhiBox practices Saucha (living purely) and only partners with businesses that follow ethical and conscious standards in production. They also donate a portion of proceeds to charity.

If $41 US per month is too much for you, BuddhiBox also offers a mini version. For only $11.95 per month, plus shipping, you can get 2-3 product samples and coupons. This review is for a regular box.

Product card

Each box includes a yoga pose card, an inspirational quote, and a recipe. This month we will be making Vegetarian Taco Salad and practicing the Wheel/Upward Bow Pose. It's a back bend pose that looks a little too advanced for my current yoga skill level.

First look

The first look is a good reminder to tell you about the new BuddhiBox Jewelery Box. It's a new quarterly subscription that sends mala beads, stones, and inspirational jewelry. It's $49.95 per quarter (plus $9.99 shipping) and includes 2-3 jewelry pieces "handmade with loving intention from local artisans". Click here to learn more.

Soul Sparks Karma Yoga Bracelet in Midnight ($4)
Keep your circle positive. Say good words, think good thoughts, do good deeds. Wear this (Adjustable) Karma Yoga Bracelet to remind you that what goes around comes around.
I really like the simplicity of this bracelet, and the message it conveys.

Chakra Love Crystal Talismal Energy Necklace in Jasper ($22)
Powerful but petite, handcrafted talisman chakra energy necklace. Designed with a healing stone to bring balance to one or more chakras. Seattle made by Chakra Love. Jasper – Shades of green, oval shape. Stimulates the heart chakra for love, compassion, and balance. Nurtures self acceptance.
This is another lovely piece with meaning and I am happy to receive the Jasper stone.

Chuao Choclatier ChocoPod Mini Bars in Spicy Maya and Potato Chip (11g x 2, $2)
Chocolate! I've tried the Potato Chip one before and it was okay. The texture was odd but the saltiness was great. I need to get my hands on the Ravishing Rocky Road and  Oh My S'Mores! As for the ChocoPods, the Spicy Maya only has 50 calories, and the Potato Chip only has 60! It's a sinful treat, without any guilt. They're shaped like large cocoa beans, about two inches high by one inch wide. The Spicy Maya was delicious. Creamy and chocolatey with just a hint of chili spice.

House of Good Juju Aura Cleansing Soy Candle Sample (0.5oz Tealight, $1.25)
The Aura Cleansing Candle can help cleanse and restore your Aura! Your Aura is always reflecting your emotions and feelings. A healthy, balanced Aura suggests a happier soul, displaying your own well-being and harmony. By using this Candle, you can return your Aura to true harmony. Clearing away the webs of stress and unhappiness, it helps you to regain your balance and positivity - letting you shine brighter than before.
I've never put much thought into the state of my Aura. I will have to give this candle a try and see if I feel any different! A full size comes in a 6oz tin for $15.

Kiss My Honey Lip Balm in Mint ($4)
Kiss My Honey’s lip balm is preservative free, chemical free, and Paraben free. Soothes and hydrates. Locally made in Las Vegas NV.
Lip balm is always handy to have and this one is organic too! The website and card say it's chocolate scent but my tube says mint.

OM Prayer Scarf in Marigold ($20)
Direct from Shiva Arts in India, our Om Prayer Scarves are made from a fine rayon and viscose fabric. Printed with Om symbol and scroll letters, you can wear them as an accessory or in mediation.
I was excited to see we would be getting a scarf in the February box, but unfortunately the yellow colour is not for me. I have red hair, so this will look a little Ronald McDonald on me...The white one is gorgeous though.

The February BuddhiBox contained eight items, with an approximate retail value of $53.25 US. It's a lovely collection of meaningful and inspirational items, and some chocolate for added smiles. While the bracelet and necklace are not things I would have bought on my own, I'm happy with both and plan to add them into my accessory collection. The scarf is a bit too bold for me to use as intended, but it might make a perfect sarong for the beach. I enjoyed opening the February BuddhiBox.

If the February box peaks your interest, it's available for one-time purchase from the Buddhi store. Click here to check it out. Partial proceeds from the February box go to Live + Breathe, a non-profit organization that offers yoga to advance health and wellness to those with disabilities, elderly, and youth.
