Coast to Coast Coffee is a local Canadian roaster that aims to supply you with the world's best coffee. Coast to Coast Coffee sends organic, Fair Trade coffee that is freshly roasted in small batches. The coffee is delivered to your door, as often as you need. Coast to Coast offers a variety of subscription plans which are affordable and include tax and shipping!

Coast to Coast Coffee is unique because they roast the same day they ship to ensure peak freshness. As soon as I picked it up from the post office, I could smell the delicious coffee scent through the box.
Coffee is at its best when it's freshly roasted, which is why we roast our beans just hours before they're packed up and shipped to you. Freshly roasted coffee is naturally sweet, not bitter, and offers superior flavour when compared to most coffees found at your local grocery store.
Arguably the most important part of making a great cup of coffee is the quality of the beans that go into it. We choose to focus on amazing single origin coffees – we want you to experience how flavour profiles differ based on where in the world they are grown.
To further enhance the deliciousness of our beans, we roast small, custom batches to ensure each origin is roasted to a degree that optimizes its own flavour profile with balance and sweetness.
Another unique quality of Coast to Coast Coffee is their subscription plans. Coast to Coast offers weekly, bi-weekly and monthly. Their plans ensure you get the amount of coffee you need, when you need it. All plans can be cancelled or paused at any time.
Our 400 g (14 oz) package supplies the average household with approximately two weeks worth of coffee. But, since not all households are average, we offer a variety of plans to accommodate your unique coffee requirements. For those that prefer it, we also offer a single 'One Timer 'order option.
The coffee is roasted and shipped every Monday, with the following recurring plan options:
  • Weekly ($15.95) - A weekly order of 400 g. Perfect for households of 2 or more coffee drinkers, enjoying 2 or more cups per day
  • Bi-Weekly ($16.95) - An order of 400 g every other week. Perfect for households with 1 or 2 coffee drinkers, enjoying 1 or 2 cups per day
  • Monthly ($17.95) - An order of 400 g once a month. Perfect for households with 1 coffee drinker, enjoying 1 or more cups per day
  • One Timer ($17.95) - A one time order of 400 g. Perfect for trying us out, or for those who don't drink coffee everyday (this is a non-recurring option)
You can also select your coffee origins. Choose from Peru, Costa Rica, Papua New Guinea, Eh'spresso blend, Superior Dark blend, or a 'Surprise Me' option. For $1 extra, you can opt for decaf or Ethiopian. You can also select your grind type, although whole bean is recommended for best flavour. And don't forget, all plans include tax and shipping, anywhere in Canada! Gift options are also available.

Each 400g plastic package is biodegradable and is printed with brewing and storing instructions. They recommend storing the beans in a glass airtight container and leaving it at room temperature - no refrigerator or freezer.  The package says for best results, use within two weeks of receiving.

Coast to Coast sent me a special "Box Addict's Blend", which is a blend of Costa Rican, Papua New Guinean, and Ethiopian beans. Coast to Coast Coffee is thinking of adding this blend to their lineup and they are looking for a good name. Any suggestions?

I'm not much of a coffee aficionado, and the 400g pouch is a lot for me to go through on my own, so I am sending this bag to work with my boyfriend. His co-workers will do some sampling and report back on Monday.

Coast to Coast Coffee works out to about 40 cents per cup at the lowest priced plan. Compared to store bought coffees, it's on par, or even more affordable. I checked a sample of Well.ca brands and found they range in price from $14.99 to $16.99 for 1 pound (454g) of coffee and none of them can claim they offer freshly roasted beans shipped the same day. A monthly or bi-weekly plan would be perfect for a household of avid coffee drinkers. A weekly plan would be a great idea for an office. Use your workplace coffee fund to get a pound of fresh coffee delivered every single week. It's also a convenient and affordable option for those in more rural areas that don't have access to quality coffee.

If you are interested in trying Coast to Coast Coffee, you can save $5 off any recurring subscription plan. Just enter promo code boxaddict5 at checkout. The promo code is valid until the end of March.
