surprise luxury beauty products packaged in a glossy pink gift box

Glossybox is a premiere beauty sampling program, operating in more than a dozen countries worldwide. They consider themselves the "leading purveyor of luxury beauty samples on a global stage".

We are committed to introducing the most exciting brands throughout the world to you. Whether it be a product featured on the runways of Milan or the newest skincare regimen from Japan, we strive to make sure you are the first to have access to it.
The November Glossybox shipped December 2nd, so I was expecting massive delays again this month. To my surprise, this box shipped December 10th and arrived December 23rd.

The holiday themed box is super cool. I'm going to save it for Christmas gifts next year! I love how Glossybox arrives packaged like a perfect little gift.

First Look - Lots of full size items!

Rituals Cosmetics Miracle Scrub in Ginseng & Ginkgo Biloba (75ml full size, $17)
Talk about heaven scent! From the Dutch beauty brand, centered on turning daily routines into meaningful moments, comes this delectable hand scrub which combines the energizing properties of ginseng with nourishing ginkgo biloba for the softest hands possible.
This is a "ultra softening" hand scrub. My hands have been pretty dry this season so I'm happy to try this out.

TONI&GUY Leave in Conditioner (100ml full size, $16.99)
For the perfect pre-styling foundation, protect and prime strands with the TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe Prep Leave In Conditioner. Ideal for all-day nourishment and hydration, this salon-inspired formula helps tame frizz and improve manageability for seamless styling. Controls frizz and protects against humidity for advanced all-day manageability.
I haven't used a leave in conditioner in years, and I've heard good things about the TONI&GUY brand. This will be used tonight!

Ciate London Mini Paint Pot in All Aglow (5ml, $10)
Ciaté produces stunningly beautiful and intensely pigmented Paint Pot color’s, currently boasting a range of eighty eight head-turning and trend-setting shades. The family of Paint Pot shades grows with each new innovation, with new color’s launching every three months done to maintain Ciaté’s position as the nail innovators to watch.
Three different colours went out in this month's Glossybox. There was a black sparkle called Humbug and a blue sparkle called Yule Rules. I like my gold sparkle, but I already have a couple ones similar. I've never tried Ciate products though and I've seen them everywhere so I might give this a try.

Bellápierre Cosmetics Mineral Lipstick in Burlesque (full size, $19.99)
Bellápierre Mineral Lipsticks have been formulated with natural waxes, mineral pigments, iron oxides and antioxidants such as vitamin C and vitamin E. Their smooth, silky, 100% natural formula delivers long-lasting color. Mineral Lipsticks are NOT tested on animals and do NOT contain animal products, lead, lanolin, parabens, or other harmful ingredients.
This is a nice colour, but not a good shade for me. I've received a few Bellápierre products from other subscription boxes, but never a lipstick. I always find Bellápierre products are overpriced, but that's just me.

Nuxe Masque Crème Fraiche® de Beauté (50ml full size, $32)
A source of well-being and immediate freshness, this moisturizing mask with plant milks and white blossom provides intensive moisture for even the driest of skin. A rescue treatment, it provides intensive relief, instantly soothing skin discomfort. Hydrates and soothes for 24 hours, leaving skin radiant.
Nuxe is a French brand that I'm not really familiar with so I'm excited to give this a try. An intensive moisture mask will come in handy after sock skiing next week!

My December Glossybox included five products with an estimated retail value of $95.98 US! This box costs $26 US for Canadians ($21, plus $5 shipping). I purchased a 3-month subscription for $75 US (or $87.92 CDN at time of purchase). That brings my box cost to $29.30 CDN per month. This month's box is a fantastic value and includes almost all full-size products. Three brands are completely new to me so I'm excited about that and I love that the skincare items are perfect for a winter box. This is the kind of box I expect from Glossybox - deluxe or full sizes, well known or luxury brands, and high value. It's much better than the underwhelming November box. I'm looking forward to what 2015 has to bring!
